A beautiful valley and interesting, picturesque towns and villages nearby. The Hand is a superb pub/hotel. The food is exceptional and the real ale and wine of high quality. We didn't venture out of the Hotel as we arrived late...
We didn't venture out of the Hotel as we arrived late afternoon and left after breakfast. That said, what could be seen of the countryside was stunning and there was talk about fabulous walks to experience. It is hidden away which is just perfect for us. The West Arms Hotel was the most wonderful place to stay.
