Not too far from hotel, went when couldn't get meal at hotel, not a great deal of choice, ended up with takeaway fish and chips. Only positive was it was freshly cooked, fair price and good qulity.

Llangefni had everything we needed, including a wide...

Llangefni had everything we needed, including a wide selection of nearly all the main supermarkets! We also enjoyed an excellent Chinese takeaway from the one with the red signage. There is a one-way system to get your head around. It's well worth parking in the car park which gives access to The Dingle - a path by the stream and through fabulous trees which give way to fields and hills, ending up at Llan lake/reservoir. It's worth persevering on the path to see the lake. The other reason is to spot red squirrels although we weren't lucky.

The food was excellent.

The food was excellent. The spa was good and the gym and weight room were really good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The entrance drive is long and narrow with a few potholes, making driving it at night a difficult prospect.

Most shops close at 4pm or 5pm.

Most shops close at 4pm or 5pm. Not all restaurants are open on Mondays, so plan accordingly. The Bull Hotel staff, patrons and accommodations were fabulous. The Railway Inn staff and patrons were also very welcoming.

Lovely area for walking, sightseeing and swimming.

Lovely area for walking, sightseeing and swimming. The Dingle woodland was is lovely in Llangefni and we did see some red squirrels. Lovely meal in Tres Ysgawen Hall and in the Bennllech Indian restaurant.

the town was only a short drive away, had good choice of...

the town was only a short drive away, had good choice of shops if required Asda, Aldi, Home & bargains, B&M. Used the Chinese takeaway "Phoenix", which was good, but the Indian restaurant "Garlic" was much better. Both seemed to be popular with the locals. Close to town was a nice little woodland called "the dingle" which was nice for a walk around with the dog.

Myself and my wife spent another 3 nights in the Bull Hotel, and again we loved it. Staff are so friendly, rooms are warm, comfortable and the bed is fantastic. The food is also very good with a good choice on the menu, without being overloaded. The Bull is also located almost bang in the centre of Ynys Môn (Anglesey) so its very convenient. And only 20 mins from the ferry terminals in Holyhead. We will definately return in the near future. Diolch yn fawr i chi gyd yn Y Bull, thank you all at the Bull.

The property is situated almost in the middle of Anglesey so central to everywhere. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, bright and very comfortable. They even supplied tea, coffee, milk, bread, cake and fruit!, And 4 cans of lager!! . It's a must for a couple or single visitor to Anglesey. Definitely going back, best place I have stayed by far.

Great little place. Amazing location and spa facilities are excellent. The staff were so friendly and accomodating- my wife had special diet requirements which they were so kind to adjust. Menu options were very good. Also the grounds around the hotel are awesome
