Ideal location, garden, hosts lovely. Janice is a very experienced host as evidenced from the extras in the property; provided an allergen free hamper. Dog friendly and cosy, thick cob walls, decor in keeping with the age. On the first floor the bedroom fresh & bed was comfortable. Outdoor living equally spoilt, parasol, choice aspects at table in morning sun, L shape sofa in afternoon sun over well stocked garden & water feature & escape to the shade bistro rattan at the back door against an old stone wall cascading red berries so pretty. The cottage is attached to the hosts home & side entrance through a side gate, it was very private and their presence welcoming, always smiling & relaxed. It was a charming experience & look forward to seeing them again.

Location in middle of nowhere but exactly what we expected. Hosts were fabulous in advising of closest restaurants and pubs, and called said pub when we decided where we would go. The Crooked Spire (where we went for dinner) was so hospitable with yummy food. Breakfast was beautiful, brilliant hosts, thank you so much!

The Boathouse is fantastic! Recently refurbished to a very high standard. Very clean. Very comfortable, all mod cons provided. Exceptionally friendly and helpful host made us feel instantly at home. Perfect stay for a couple with a dog. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

    The property is looks nice and clean however, the issue was...

    The property is looks nice and clean however, the issue was hot water most of the day and evenings was not working and we have been ignored. Internet was not working at all. There was not central heating in the property not for cold nights to stay. Neighbours unfriendly you feel very unwelcoming there. The house has strange small of damp walls.
