I loved everything and will stay again! Staff couldn’t do enough, food amazing and our accommodation was amazingly clean! Couldn’t ask for anything more. When we are next in the area we will certainly book the restaurant as the food was amazingly good - recommend the Scottish breakfast and the curry!

Excellent breakfast, tables to small for comfort. Seats uncomfortable. Double room has only one chair! Hotel is dated and tired. It is ideally situated for beach walks. Drinks are expensive but the food was excellent. Sunday lunch was lovely. Very hard to find a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view.

North Berwick is fantastic in nice weather, because of the beach (Yellowcraig to the west, or the quieter East Beach), the views of Bass Rock and other islands in the Firth of Forth, and the access to coastal walks. There are many nice coffee shops (we liked JP Deli) and restaurants (No 12 Hotel & Bistro was our favourite), and a good variety of shops, where you can buy groceries, clothing, gifts, art, kitchenware, etc. The Seabird Centre is a nice spot for coffee and sea-views. Depending on the weather conditions you can book boat trips to Bass Rock, Craigleith Island and/or the Isle of May. However, in wet or very windy weather one is really more limited, especially out-with the main shopping hours. There is a museum/library that opens from late mornings through the afternoon. Tantallon Castle is about 2.5 miles east of the town and is definitely worth a visit. Archerfield Walled Garden is good for lunch/gifts; and the Tyninghame Smithy is a lovely lunch stop on the John Muir Way (though it is often very busy).

Lovely little place with many quirky little shops and overlooked Lodge Grounds, which is a huge park-like space for walking, admiring gage aviary and many beautiful planted areas, and has a children’s play area. Most people head straight for the beach, but other attractions such as the museum and Seabird Centre, Berwick Law and sports centre, all well worth a visit. Parking can be a problem, but at the moment there is a free car park at the end of the High Street.

A lovely well kept seaside town with nice range of independent shops and eating places. Wonderful walks on the beaches with superb views out to the Bass Rock, Fidra etc. Beautiful flowers everywhere including at the pretty little station. Good transport links to Edinburgh.

North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. Wonderful place to visit!

Welcoming and efficient reception staff. We had a lovely sea view room with every amenity you could need, very comfortable bed too. Breakfast was excellent and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Indeed, this was the case with every staff member we met. The leisure facilities are excellent and the fact you can utilise them until 1pm on the day of your departure is a real bonus. I would have no hesitation in staying again in this lovely hotel in gorgeous North Berwick.

The area was lovely although it would have suited us better if closer to amenities ie the shore in North Berwick but should have done our research a bit better for that definitely recommend for families for a quiet time away, would have liked to have access to see the big house, might be an idea to charge a small fee within the rent to be able to do this which I’m sure everyone would be happy to have this!

The Beach Pad is in an excellent location, in the centre of North Berwick. Even though it is in the middle of the town, it is just off a road, meaning that it is very quiet. The flat is very well appointed, comfortable and very clean. Although the property doesn't have it's own parking, you are a two minute walk from a free car park and you are only 5 minutes away from the beach.

Perfect location, a 10min walk into North Berwick. Ample parking spaces. Well stocked bar and very friendly staff. Quick and easy check in and check out. Staff very helpful with information about the surrounding area. We did not have an evening meal in the hotel so cannot comment.
