Everything we needed was just a short journey from our lodge. Good food for eating out, plenty of shops and supermarkets if you want to eat in. No more than twenty or thirty minutes from beautiful coastline and beaches. We would certainly recommend North Walsham as a place to stay, although one negative for the whole area really is a distinct lack of EV charging facilities or working ones where they happened to be some. Three out of four not working for weeks, very poor

A pleasant market town with lots of history, close to coastal resorts, the Norfolk Broads and in reach of Norfolk's quaint villages, scenic countryside and historic halls. North Walsham has all required facilities for shopping, eating out etc.

Shower was impossible for me to use and the water did not come out hardly at all. The wash basin was the same. Coffee was weak and cold. Breakfast was an obstacle course for me as I walk badly. You had to go from one room to another to get different parts of your breakfast. Very dangerous stairs for older people. No information to me, even though I asked 3 times about pets. Then in a telephone call the last late afternoon I was told I had to pay £16 a night for the cat. I was also threatened in a very nasty tone, that I would be fined £100, if I smoke in the hotel, and I'm a non smoker. My partner smokes, but he went outside about quarter of a mile away on the main road, where this man had seen him many times. Thoroughly distasteful, and wrong. The whole place was abandoned after 3pm. They tried to make themselves look good, but they were doing things on the cheap, as they needed more staff.

A great place to see North Norfolk and the Broads from.

A great place to see North Norfolk and the Broads from. Great Yarmouth beach is not far and Cromer is even closer - such a pescatarian’s dream - the legendary Cromer crab through to the catch of the day - the fish options do not disappoint. We had a spa treatment - facial (Neal’s Yard) and back massage (Decleor) at The Pigs - great upmarket eatery and spa hotel which caters for every dietary requirement - lovely enthusiastic staff too - would go back for that, the fish and the fresh air! Also have lunch or afternoon tea at The Beechwood Hotel - just wonderful service with a garden and snacks/nibbles with sparkling wine before your gourmet meal - loved it! Overall, would definitely recommend 😊

Are deco type of furniture with historical photographs. A country house type of hotel. I thought the dining and breakfast procedure was quite relaxed. This was in keeping with our stay. You’re given a time to choose for your dinner and breakfast, so 4 slots per hour spread over 3 hours. This helps their chef prepare the food, which was excellent and gives you a relaxed feel to eating. There was no crowding into the dining room and queueing. We liked this. The staff were friendly and polite local people.

The apartment was a lovely apartment in a safe and clean area in North Walsham. It was well equipped and very clean and it was nice to have enough hangers etc in the wardrobes which is often not the case! Craig, was very good with his communication and sggestions on places to eat which helped. My "judgement" on whether somewhere was good enough is would I return and I most definitely would.

This is our second stay at Room at No.4. Great location, minutes walk in to town and local park. Easy check in and check out. Polite staff. Rooms are quite small but very comfortable and well presented. Free bottled water as well as usual tea and coffee making facilities. Will defiantly be booking for our next stay in North Walsham.

Location is in a lovely place but not much around. Local pub unfortunately had stopped selling food the week we stayed so we only had our breakfast on one of the days. First evening we went to North Walsham by train but it is a 30 minute walk and it was a very dark walk home.
