The house was very clean, it smelled nice, and we had the most welcoming experience. Everything was so relaxing! We really liked Jessica, such a nice young lady! She made a delicious breakfast and we had a pleasant conversation! We wish her good luck and we're hoping to see her again soon!

The hotel is very well located for travelling into London. There is an underground station close by. The room looked basic, but had everything I needed including a fridge and a kettle to make tea or coffee. It was very clean and the staff on reception were very pleasant.

I hate superfluous adjectives but I absolutely loved this hotel for the kick of old world charm. I felt like I was in a well maintained hotel from the 90s. The little quirks and luxuries we miss in modern day hotels like artisanal coffee, water in the room, large mirrors, quirky informative artwork, mini fridge, large bathroom with bath tub, old school phone with reception on dial, carpets, trouser press (love seeing these though I never use them). The staff were lovely and accommodating.

This was a very convenient location to go to the Harry Potter Studios as the shuttle bus is nearby. A fast train to London Euston is also only around 15-20 minutes. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

    It is many years since I worked in London and lived not far...

    It is many years since I worked in London and lived not far from Northwood. I used the High Street just for the night I was there for an evening meal. These days there is plenty of choice, the usual Italian, Indian, pizza and Chinese but others such as Argentinian and Pacific rim-fusion make an appearance. Going by my tried and tested method of a walk-by of all the options and pick the busiest, I ended up at the chinese, The Tai Pan, and very good it was! Always trust the locals...
