I have travelled through Oakham station before and this time...
I have travelled through Oakham station before and this time I got to try the brewery bar next door. A popular place with good real ales and, although we didn't eat there, the food looked very good. I was impressed with the accommodation. very clean and spacious. Bed comfortable. Good bathroom with excellent shower. Brakfast was above average and staff very good. The location ideal for getting to know the area and only 5 miles from the attractive town of Oakham and easy driving distance to Melton Mowbray and Stamford.
