the accommodation was excellent, very neat and clean. The host was kind, accommodating, always ready to help. A very nice and pleasant person. The breakfast is perfect and abundant. if I ever come back to Epping or close by, I will always look for that particular house. beautifully arranged garden, flowers, grass, hedges, very tidy. we had a great time. the room is large, spacious, the bed is comfortable!

Very friendly receptionist on arrival. Ate dinner in restaurant whilst they were extremely busy and waiting times a little longer than perhaps would have liked, however the staff were very apologetic and still smiled through a hectic night.

    For walkers, the public footpaths are among the best signed and maintained that we have ever experienced in UK. Chipping Ongar itself is an attractive small town with an accessible Sainsburys and plenty of pubs and eateries. We had a delicious, good value lunch at the White Hart pub in nearby Moreton.

    Onger is quant ,I stayed at the Mulberry , the Italian restaurant,very nice decor relaxing food and service full marks . The post office and coffee room ,again sweet , A good refreshing menu , Just rural England at its best Finalising ,the people (Ongar )friendly . The trip friendly to the pocket .

    The room and the bathroom were modern, tastefully and obviously recently redecorated. Breakfast was very tasty, except for the watery organge juice, and served in nice quality crockery. The staff were generally very attentive and friendly. The location - off the main road in beautiful grounds - was ideal and quiet. Perhaps just check that there are no evening events on the in the hotel when you stay, as this could potentially influence the noise levels. It's very popular for weddings!

    Beautiful pre wedding day, stay for the bride and maid of honour. Perfect location as close to wedding venue. Very quiet and comfortable rooms to ensure the bride was able to get a good night's sleep before her big day. Decor was lovely and stunning bathroom. The hotel looked beautiful all decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was amazing and staff were more than helpful. Great value for money.

    Everything! Reception staff friendly and showed us to our lovely courtyard room. Had a little tour of the hotel and told us about the grounds, alpacas, and black swans, which we went to explore.....plenty of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, and water which was replenished every day. Shower gel and shampoo in the shower room. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return

    I travel for work and often have overnight stays booked on a restricted budget. Mulberry house is in every way exceptional, the beauty of the grounds, the friendliness of the staff, the ethically sourced bed linen. Every detail went far beyond expectations and I would return there just for the pleasure of staying in such a lovely hotel.
