We like overstrand.

We like overstrand. The beach is nice at low tide and it’s an enjoyable experience to walk from overstrand to Cromer either on the beach or on the cliff top. I love the little crab shack that sells delicious lobster and crab and the nearby cafe for coffee or breakfast overlooking the sea.

A lovely little village that we will definitely be back to.

A lovely little village that we will definitely be back to. The tide did not go out till the afternoon so if planning on going to the beach earlier then you do need to go somewhere else. Cromer only a mile and a half away with Mundesley, Bacton and Sea Palling not to far away

Overstrand is great if you like quiet places.

Overstrand is great if you like quiet places. The beach disappears at high tide but apart from that there is plenty of sand and excellent sea swimming. The Cliff Top cafe is fabulous and there is a well stocked shop and Post Office complete with it's own ATM.

Overstrand is a small quiet resort and has a cafe with sea views , a shop ,White Horse pub/hotel , village club and Sea Marge hotel for visitors. The beach is lovely but its a steep walk to get down there and at present the promenade isn't fully open due to a cliff fall so the front isn't accessible to walk along at high tide . It's a good place to stay and use as a base to explore the coast and inland . Cromer is nearby with more facilities such as a supermarket , shops and eating and drinking places

We stayed for 3 nights in the low season ,ie March.

We stayed for 3 nights in the low season ,ie March. The weather was sunny and cold. We walked on the beach and noticed the beautiful sand and the groins to limit the power of the waves. It seemed popular with dog walkers and had nearby refreshment outlets.

The village has an interesting history with notable people living there over the years. Some of the buildings were designed by Edwin Lutyens including the Methodist Chapel on Cliff Road. There are places to eat including a great cafe on the cliff top and a shop for essentials. There's a lovely walk from Overstrand beach through to Cromer

The hosts met us as we arrived - a lovely couple, very welcoming. The flat was very well appointed with tea, coffee, milk, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices & bread. There was an amazing selection of shower gels and shampoos. The flat in Overstrand is an ideal base for visiting the many attractions Norfolk has to offer plus the village itself has a pub and hotel where you can grab an evening meal just a short walk away. There is also a convenience store and post office in the village. There is parking onsite at the accommodation.

This was a very pleasant cosy flat conveniently close to the centre of Overstrand . It was easy to park outside . It was quiet at night . The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms and living area. The washing machine was a useful feature . Everything was very clean . TV system was ok .Overall this was good value for money . Communication with hosts was good . We would come back to stay there again

The location of the house was brilliant as it was just a minute from the beach and a coffee / shop across the road. There was a lovely pub at the top of the road that did great food and drink and further down the road was a hotel with some beautiful views out to the sea. A lovely little village that we will definitely be back to.
