We especially like Padstow out of season as it is much easier to get around and enjoy the wide range of restaurants, pubs and bars in the evening. The working harbour with its lock gate is always interesting to walk aroung, have a pasty or coffee and cake. Many of the pubs such as The Old Custom House and The Harbour Inn have live music and open mike nights at the weekend with great atmosphere.

We love Padstow and have visited several times over the...

We love Padstow and have visited several times over the years. Bear in mind that it is actually very small and can get intolerably over-crowded in high season. We went in late September this year and it was still very busy. It's extremely pretty but not cheap to eat or shop there

Padstow is a lovely place with a relaxed holiday vibe.

Padstow is a lovely place with a relaxed holiday vibe. There are many good restaurant and cafes. Easy to walk around although there are some hills and a lot of good shops both male and female as well as great art shops. It is centrally located and you can go for day trips to other villages and towns. It is a must stop for all.

It is a lovely place.

It is a lovely place. It is quite small and therefore a weekend is enough. Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant was an amazing experience. There are a lot of Gin and Vodka shops, which were great because we were not driving and sampling was fun. Padstow Brewery is worth a stop and the flights of beer were great. We had the wettest weekend and even so had a great time. Visit the Lobster Hatchery, it is quite small and pricey for what it is, but worth a visit and they do a great job.

Padstow is a busy tourist location, early morning is the best time to pop out for breakfast/coffee before the crowds arrive although most places do not open until 10.00 am. The surrounding area has so much more to offer, coastal walks / bicycle rides / paddle boarding and surfing.

Padstow is in an ideal location for getting to main areas of Cornwall such as Newquay lots of beaches to choose from giant slip and slide great fun camel creek adventure park good family day out we hired bicycles and done a ride along camel trail from padstow south quay we also went to lands end and st Ives and Tintagel castle just fantastic holiday

I loved the very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Great shower and comfy bed. Lots of cupboard and drawer space. Lovely bath with bathroom tv. Gorgeous unobstructed views from the bedroom across the bay. This hotel is conveniently located outside the busy centre of Padstow in lovely countryside adjacent to a charming old pub.

Spectacular floor to ceiling views of the amazing estuary - loved watching the ebb and flow of the tides. Lovely apartment with everything we needed for our stay. Ideally situated on the harbour. Dog friendly and direct access to the coastal path. Allocated/free parking which is rare in Padstow.

Hotel has had a refurbishment since being taken over by Harbour Hotels. Beautiful decor inside. The staff were so courteous. Breakfast room exceptional with unrivalled views of the Camel Estaury. Nice large bar area for pre dinner drink. What's not to like!! We will defo return. Thank you.

Spacious apartment in the heart of Padstow. Comfortable and well-appointed. The parking space was a bonus, although a bit tricky to get into. It was great to be so close to the harbour, shops and restaurants.
