St Anne's is a delightful place to stay, right in the heart of Painswick and 10-15 mins walk to the Rococo Garden. Lovely room, complete with fresh flowers. Delicious breakfast in the morning. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Painswick is a quaint beautiful town.

Painswick is a quaint beautiful town. The Rococo Gardens are stunning and we visited the church but I didn't snap photos of it. The restaurant at The Painswick is excellent. Loved the Beef Wellington and the halibut. Both nights I hoped to be able to manage dessert but could not eat another bite!

Local charity shop!

Local charity shop! Well stocked and sometimes has interesting objects. Worth checking out. Local arts centre and a tea place nearby. Dog friendly zone in the local recreation ground. If you can get the local magazine "The Painswick Beacon" lists what's happening in the area and also local services should you need anything whilst in the area.

We stayed at Tibblewell Lodge which is a fantastic place to visit in this beautiful village. The village has a small shop but it has most things and you can always find a treat or two. There are a few places to eat and drink in the village and the choice and quality of food was fantastic. Painswick is great just to walk around although hilly there is plenty to see and the church is a nice little respite area to sit and relax. It is a breath taking area to visit well worth a visit.

Beautiful, historic Cotswold village with good local facilities and plenty to do and visit in the area, especially when the weather permits walking and outdoor activities. Larger towns nearby (Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham) offer supermarkets and additional facilities.

Virtually in the heart of Painwick Village, our accommodation was perfect. Was unable to find the address, but Marcus came to the rescue. Breakfast each morning with Martin was pleasurable. Nice conversation and some travel hints. The Falcon Hotel on the main street, opposite the churchyard is a nice place to eat, whilst the Oak Pub is a fabulous drinking spot. Nearby Cirencester and Chipping Campden are well worth a visit.

The rooms were all a good size, and the living space was beautiful especially with the window seats. Everything was immaculate and spotless and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery etc, extra bedding etc. It was brilliant to have parking, which is unusual in the centre of Painswick and it was really convenient to have independent access.

Fabulous location in the centre of the town. Parking was close and easy even though not dedicated to the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed comfy. Everything we needed!
