Peacehaven is a relatively quiet area from which you can explore many other local villages and towns of interest. The beaches are pebbly, but the seashore is attractive in its own way. Plenty of walks parallel to the sea, right near the shore-line and along the cliff tops. We looked for a fish & chip restaurant where you could sit down, but there were only take away fish and chip shops. There were other restaurants though in Peacehaven and of course plenty of choice in Brighton which is only a few miles down the road. Plenty of buses which would be sensible to consider as parking in Brighton is expensive. Plenty of choice for things to do.

Peacehaven is a small but very busy town.

Peacehaven is a small but very busy town. You’ll find here everything you need from little food shops to cafes, a couple of bars and restaurants too. Peacehaven is well connected with the neighbouring towns and cities such as Brighton and Eastbourne which are both just a bus ride away. If you prefer a walk or a hike to Brighton you can do that too via the Undercliff or the Clifftops and the scenery is gorgeous! We have 2 small children who were spoilt by the choice of parks and activities around here both indoors and outdoors. The Big Park, Chatsworth park, The Dell (just at the back of the property) , swimming at Wave Leisure, Skate park & Pump Track in Newhaven and also the newly renovated Newhaven Fort. Snd of course the beach! And much more. The traffic on the coast road can be very busy and very slow but as you’re on holiday you don’t need to rush so it wasn’t too much of a problem after all! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

I ddnt really stay long enough to find out much as I was...

I ddnt really stay long enough to find out much as I was booked to do a comedy gig at The Avenue and we didnt arrive until 4pm and left next day at 10 am to get train back to London, But handy Sainsburys nearby and nice cliff top walk at 9am admiring the coastline and views,

We used Peacehaven as a base to visit the south coast .

We used Peacehaven as a base to visit the south coast .There were shops and restaurants nearby but we did not use them. Peacehaven is at the top of white cliffs , there are steps and pathway down to an undercliff walkway which is perfect for an evening walk to watch the sun go down .There is also a pathway along the cliff top.

The property was all we needed for the week.

The property was all we needed for the week. The price was great too! Peacehaven was okay, there were some cafes, greggs, costa, co-op, corner shop and a charity shop. I wish I had walked down to the beach at peace haven. We had spent most of our time in brighton, which was only 30mins away and the buses were frequent :)

Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Host was amazing and friendly and very helpful Breakfast served every morning on time and it was the perfect start to the day Location perfect for travelling to Brighton, and some really nice places to eat close by Will definitely stay again. Thank you
