Perranporth hasn't changed over the years, however, everyone seems to have at least one dog and they are allowed on the beach. This is okay if the owners 'cleaned up' after their dogs, but we noted a lot just used the sand to cover up the offending mess.

We have been to Perranporth on many occasions and will, hopefully, return a few more times. There is plenty of choice when it comes to places to eat, or get takeaway. There is a coop to cater for your needs locally or, further afield, a Morrisons or Tesco. There are several pubs to choose from. It really is a place with something for everyone. We don't really use our car for the whole of the time that we are staying, we don't need to. You can go on to the beach at one end of the town, walk along it and come off of it at the other. Well worth a visit, it won't disappoint

Absolutely beautiful, beautiful beach, lots of places to eat, drink and relax, our cottage was perfectly located. The only issue was the seagulls flying at you and taking food but you get that everywhere nowadays.

Plenty of places to eat and drink (we especially enjoyed several trips to the Summerhouse), that magnificent beach, the relaxed pace of life. Very pricy for food and drink, but that is unfortunately the way things are in the UK at the moment, so we just swallowed hard and paid up - but generally it was good value for money. We relied on reviews such as this one, and avoided the places that were not well thought of, and had good food and nice drinks everywhere we went. I'd particularly recommend The Summerhouse, No.4, with Delmar Italian Restaurant as a runner up (mainly because they were a bit pricy. There were loads of other places that looked worth visiting if we'd been staying longer.

Lovely town, clean and has everything you need, including a clean beach. One problem we found in all the seaside towns, perrinporth, St lives etc were the very large seagulls which attack at any sign that you are carrying food. We witnessed several attacks. We saw one child injured.

I love Perranporth, very clean, variety of shops and cafes and very dog friendly. The accommodation was only a 10 minute walk away and buses to Newquay regular. You need to arrive early morning to get a space in the car parks as gets extremely busy July/August.

Amazing location - just a short stroll to town and the beach (there is a small hill involved). The hosts were so accommodating and very friendly. We were given a welcome pack of tea/coffee, milk, Cornish cream tea (delicious) and some local beer! The place was super clean and great for myself and my son. They even provided a spare mattress for my boy to sleep on. Had a cracking stay in the delightful town of Perranporth - great beach, great places to eat and local shops and amenities close by.

Location is excellent. So close to the beach and shops etc. Dunes view had everything we needed. Kitchen contains everything needed for a self catering holiday. Bathroom although compact was user friendly and shower was very good. Lounge well equipped with TV, WiFi and enough seating space and bedrooms comfortable and airy. Location perfect for Perranporth beach and great location for travelling around Cornwall. Designated parking space so no concerns with parking.

Exceptional location and views over Perranporth Beach. Lovely welcome treats on arrival. The apartment itself is much bigger than we were expecting. Jamie-Lee was a great host - easy to contact and really helpful during our stay.
