We loved the whole cottage! It was in the perfect location, around the corner from my favourite pub! The cottage itself was beautiful! Well kept, clean, tidy and cosy! All with a great view!

Great location, maximum 5 minute walk from the harbour. The apartment has everything you could need. I was able to park my car directly outside the property which I would think in peak season would be very beneficial as the narrow streets get very busy. I called the owner very late at night as I arrived later than planned and they were very helpful.

    We didn’t go into Porthleven itself as it was really busy with not much parking facilities! But St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Kynance Cove is all within half an hour off Porthleven and stunning! Make sure you visit the seal sanctuary, they do wonderful work x

    Porthleven is a wonderful small seaside village with lots of good places to eat, drink and shop. It’s got a wonderful picturesque harbour, a lovely beach and plenty of walks. Couple of good sized car parks a short walk from the harbour. Remember to book up for meals out as it gets very busy. Plenty of rock pooling, crabbing places, great beach .

    Porthleven has 3 pubs and lots of places to eat. All are conveniently located around the harbour. There is a small supermarket just off the harbour too. It is also directly on the south west coastal path, so you can literally start walks from your front door step.

    Lovely harbour area, full of great restaurants and gift shops. (Kota Kai especially fabulous). Nice place to mosey. Relaxing feel to the area. Lots of nice places within short driving distance, and good walks. Not too busy in June.

    Porthleven is a beautiful town, with two pubs, plenty of restaurants, fish and chip shop and pasty shop. A small supermarket is also there. Fabulous walks along the coast to Loe Bar, a big sandy beach. Close to Marazion (St Michael's Mount), The Minack theatre, and easy access to Heston, Truro and Falmouth.

    We visited Porthleven back in September on a stormy day when the waves were crashing over the harbour so wanted to visit in summer. The beach is a shingle beach, quite a few pubs. We eat at the harbour inn both nights, you must book to get a table as it gets very busy, food was tasty and good choice on the menu. Staff were also attentive and friendly. Quite a few shops to look around also. Easy to walk around, car park in town easy accessible too. We arrived here after a week in Looe, visited Trebah Gardens (on our way here) which has it's own beach, well worth a visit, and Mousehole is another village worth visiting in this area as well as St Michaels Mount.

    This was a lovely little bolt hole in beautiful Porthleven. The flat was spotlessly clean and tidy, in a great location within 30 seconds walk of the quintessential cornish fishing harbour, and some excellent pubs and eateries in what appears to have become a bit of a foodie destination since we last visited. Parking was a minutes walk away and access to the property very easy on our arrival. Overall a very agreeable stay.

    Perfect location and small comfortable and functional base in Porthleven. I could sit on the sofa looking at the Atlantic Ocean for hours - come rain or shine. Perfectly positioned to take coastal walks, walk into Porthleven town, or just sit and chill in the warm whilst watching the waves. The property is small, but if you do not need big space it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

    Beautiful location which was also in walking distance to Porthleven. Bell tent was beautiful with everything supplied. Bed was really comfortable and cosy. Lovely extras like marshmallows, teas, hot choc, lights, firewood, all utensils, deckchairs, picnic table, cooker and pans, fire pit. Host was very lovely, friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again
