The house is beautiful, the hosts are wonderful and very hospitable. They were very concerned about our well-being. They kept everything clean, and the room and bed were very comfortable and clean. A great place to stay for many days. Convenient if you have a car. They have a lot of dogs, but they're wonderful and never bother you. There's a coffee machine, hot water, and access to the patio with a beautiful panoramic view.

The location is amazing. Everything was perfect regarding the hospitality. Kaman, the hotel manager was very very decent and elegant and helped and served us by himself. The other staff was very nice at the reception as well. Very clean and it was the most wonderful stay in UK. Highly recommended.

A beautiful quick stop over stay at Open Acres before an early morning flight. I wish we could have stayed longer, the setting was beautiful, the room was lovely and clean. My kids loved seeing the horses. Ben was welcoming and sorted transfer to the airport for the early hours. Would definitely return.

A pleasant environment.

A pleasant environment. Three decent pubs: up-market Royal Inn overlooking the Severn, a good, Weatherspoons with better than usual staff, another pub over-looking the harbour basin. Portishead a good place to stroll around. Lidl and Waitrose alongside the hotel and M5 just 5 mins away.

Great stay for 2 families of 2+2.

Great stay for 2 families of 2+2. Very big house, easily accommodating 8 persons. Caroline and Muz were great and helpful hosts. Many amenities. Including but not limited to a hot tub, table tennis, a pool table, a sonos system, TVs in every room and, most importantly, a karaoke kit! The house is their family house so it is furnished as such, to a very high standard. Spacious with great views of Bristol Bay, this house comes highly recommended. Only yards away from the local coastal walk path.

Portishead is a very smart town, kept very clean.

Portishead is a very smart town, kept very clean. It has a lovely marina, within easy walking distace of the coast. Enjoy watching the big boats go by at high tide to the docks. Also watchng the smaller boats going in and out of the large lock. It's worth going to the town centre where there is a selection of retaurants. The Indian Empire restaurant in the High Street was excellent. We will visit Portishead again. There is also an excellent bus service to other resorts and Bristol,

Good location just off M5, has restaurants and coffee shops close by. Easy to North Devon, into Wales and towards Cotswolds... Comfortable beds, quiet hotel, not fancy but does the job, we would stay again

Having a Marinaview while I worked at my desk, being near to...

Having a Marinaview while I worked at my desk, being near to the marina for pleasant strolls, having a Waitrose and Nice eateries nearby, being able to open the window, even a little, during warm weather. Appreciated having a fan. I would certainly consider coming again.

This apartment was beautifully located and had an excellent view right out into the Severn. Had its own dedicated parking space and was clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfortable. We did receive bin and leaving information from the host on the chat who was brilliant and communicated very clearly. Portishead is also lovely and has so much to offer. Brilliant stay!

Perfect Budget hotel in a great location. Hotel is situated next door to both a Lidl, Subway and a wetherspoons and opposite X2 restaurants and the marina with a couple of bars and restaurants down too, and is 30 minutes away from Bristol City Centre via car. Room was basic but extra large bed and very clean. Couldn't complain for the price.

Every detail had been thought of, highest standard of welcome pack with quality Tea and Coffee and biscuits. The house was a real home from home, perfectly decorated and very clean. Beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds in a great location next to the marina. The apartment had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Between 2 friends the cost was cheaper than the hotel over the road, and the experience was way nicer. We plan to book again for next year if it’s available.
