Really enjoyed our stay at Port 56. The room was perfect for our needs and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and heating controls allowed for the changing weather. The minute we entered the apartment we were wow this is beautiful. For the price we didnt expect it to be so lovely, everything we needed was there, and the view from the balcony was great, bed spotless living room spotless same for bathroom. Portstewart is very quiet.

Portstewart is very quiet. So good for couples or family looking for a peaceful trip away. If you don't have a car there isn't much in the way of supermarkets close to the main street so it can be difficult to get groceries. Plenty of public transport to get to Coleraine and Portrush for the arcades and fairground for kids.

Portstewart seems like the quiet and more sensible brother of Portrush. Very laid back and friendly. The beach is 5 star - the water clear and the tide doesn't take it miles away. The herring pond is a must for a quick dip and a chat with the locals. We visited the Portstewart Arms and the people in their we friendly and welcoming. A walk down the Promenade in the evening was wonderful with the sun setting over the hills on the other side of the bay. It was busy but chilled out and a nice feel to it.

Good coffee shops with friendly staff, great variety of ice cream in Roughans (Rogans), lovely views of the sunset. Short distance to Portstewart Strand and it`s 2 mile beach. All ages go there but no rough crowds.

Friendly town people.

Friendly town people. We went for the Open and the golf at the Strand and Castle Rock. It was a busy week for the town due to the Open. Couldn’t make reservations most places. But we enjoy busy days and cooking at home, which is what we did. The cottage has a small patio on which we enjoyed our morning coffee.

The bedroom was lovely , beautiful modern decor & extremely comfy bed . Extremely clean , en suite small but functional . We ate in the restaurant & the food was lovely , decent portions & service good . Convenient location close by o the prom & free parking close by . We would stay there again . One little area for improvement was the reception at check in & check out , it seemed to take a long time .

Excellent accommodation. We had a really comfortable stay here. The house is spacious and well located, only 12 minutes walk from the beach. The kitchen had all the facilities that we needed. The house was child friendly, with a safe garden outside to play, a cot and high chair. The rooms were very comfortable and there were plenty of toilets and showers for us all. The living area was spacious with comfortable seats. It was a lovely space for us to relax in. A great place to stay with family or friends, we would definitely stay again!

Was closed down day before we arrived. Booking.com still accepted booking and when the hotel finally answered, Mr M told lies, saying it had closed due to a "broken part" at 3am, 12 hours before we arrived. Well, not good enough and surely not up to booking.com standards. We know initial excuse was a lie as they closed the day before we arrived and have since been told the owner has sold hotel. Poor business. Still heard nothing from booking!!!

Lovely quiet location on the seafront but close to town and beach The room was modern, warm comfortable and colourful with a sea view. Off road parking and Maureen made sure we had safe parking for our motorcycles. Maureen is a fantastic host and did us a lovely breakfast. Portstewart is a great base on the coast for visiting Giants Causeway and much more. If you intend to visit this area I recommend you stay here you will not be disappointed
