Plenty of parking, a warm and welcoming reception area, an excellent atmosphere, excellent dinner with space enough in the restaurant to be quiet, an excellent room with a comfortable mattress and topper, comfortable pillows. The breakfast was superb with a wide range of choice. The quality of the items in the cooked breakfast were very good. There is evening entertainment in the palm court on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We unfortunately weren't aware of this so we weren't able to attend. The comfortable seating in the palm court area is a lovely place to sit and relax during the day. An excellent find..!

The Hotel is defo worth a stop-over.

The Hotel is defo worth a stop-over. Whether you eat in Nelsons or The Palm Court the Food is excellent and `fits` all budgets . The Breakfast is `top-notch` and sets you up for the Day. All of the Staff seem happy, there`s a Good Morning to all, and all done with a nice smile. We`ll definitely be returning. Oh, well done to all. Looking forward to stopping over again.

A very lovely hotel set in a little Cheshire village, a jewel in the beautiful countryside. A couple of Weddings were on the weekend we visited. A fantastic venue! Visit Chester, its a great Town.

Great hotel. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Both resuarants were of a night standard. Rooms were very clean seeing as it was pet friendly. Pool was nice although dressing rooms were a bit tired. The room was possibly haunted.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities - the food was amazing as were the spa facilities and the cleanliness was second to none. I have already booked again. Fabulous weekend!

Beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds. Smart and opulent interior with grand fireplace and decor. Bedroom was large with clean fresh en-suite. Breakfast in the Palm Court was superb freshly prepared and plentiful. Excellent hotel and restaurant staff service.

Lovely little hotel . On a quiet country road 15 mins from Chester town centre. Rooms was lovely I booked the basic room but it had everything you need. Kettle with tea and coffee making facilities and iron and ironing board. No fridge . Rooms were compact but lovely. Lovely outdoor spaces. We had lovely food in Nelsons bar. Very nice staff. Car park was very busy as there was a wedding on but we managed to get a parking space.

Every single member of staff was impeccably helpful or polite. It is rare to have a 100% hit rate on customer service. Not one team member let this hotel down. Every single member of staff I came into contact was immensely professional, polite and helpful. I used the restaurants, room service and spa and thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff with great facilities (pool/spa, restaurant(s), parking). Very charming hotel, finished to a high standard. My room on the second night was a lovely suite style room and the lovely receptionist brought my luggage up to me. The second floor smelled absolutely amazing!
