The property is very well maintained and equipped for a family stay. Margaret and Roberto are excellent hosts, extremely kind and thoughtful. I would recommend The Chicken Shed to anyone wanting to stay in the Ashford area for a quiet break, but with plenty of amenities within a short drive.

It was such a lovely experience. The property was clean and cosy. There were plenty of towels, pillows and fire wood. We was left complimentary hot chocolates , biscuits and marshmallows which was a really nice touch for the kids.

The guest rooms are part of Debbie's house, with a shared entrance, hallway and kitchen. What makes the stay superb is Debbie's utmost care: home-made super-rich breakfast in a requested time, many useful complimentary snacks in the room, room amenities, a comfortable bed... all of this for a great price. But, above all, what I really appreciated was Debbie's proactive warm attitude and willingness to sit together and chat - being rather introverted, I probably wouldn't start the conversation myself, so I was very happy Debbie did, we talked and had fun quite a bit and it made my day and stay:).

Beautiful little cottage in a very peaceful position, perfect for our family stop over on the way to catch the Dover-Calais ferry. Cosy, well equipped and immaculately clean, nothing has been overlooked by the lovely hosts. The decking overlooks the garden and was perfect for sitting out and relaxing before dinner in the conservatory. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, we only wished we were staying longer. We'll definitely be returning to Annexe Orchard Cottage to explore the surrounding area.

We had a lovely stay at The Studio and felt very welcome. It was so nice of Eniko and Stewart to let me use their garden in the morning as the sun was shining bright in there. Very peaceful break.
