You either Love or Hate Skegness, we love it.
You either Love or Hate Skegness, we love it. Plenty to do even if the weather is poor. People are all friendly. The shopping is good, lots of places to eat, some lovely cafe's and good traditional "greasy spoons". Could feed a family of four quite easily if on a limited budget. Just a nice traditional seaside holiday. We are animal lovers so use Skegness as a base to visit, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park a twenty minute drive away and Lincoln Zoo which is on our way home. We were lucky with the weather and loved the beach.
We were lucky with the weather and loved the beach. It is ideal for people with children as there are so many amusement arcades and rides. We used the Red Lion Wetherspoon pub to eat, which served up good meals, but there were plenty of other eating places to use. My room was very comfortable with en suite facilities. Jackie and Alan are excellent hosts. As a widow and travelling alone I felt very welcome and safe staying here.
