Everything about this place was perfectly designed for a relaxing stay. The bed was really soft & comfy, beautifully presented with 2 chocolate éclairs & a lovely card saying "YOU MATTER" which really put a smile on my face. There was an amazing selection of breakfast items to choose from, fresh milk, gorgeous orange juice, Greek yogurt, cereals, jam & marmalade, the butter was delicious (proper butter) Has a kettle, toaster, a hob & microwave/grill, nice bright lighting. The outside seating area was very nice & it has a gas bbq which was lovely in beautiful sunny weather, theres 2 parasols for some shade too. Anna was an amazing host & made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived, Thank you so much I'll definitely be back xx

i loved staying at this fascinating hotel it oozes history and is situated on the high street a few minutes from the station the area was very busy with visitors and when the evening came the pubs and restaurants were very vibrant the hotel is so conveniant i was back just a few minutes after my night out

This was an enjoyable place to stop on the way to Dover. We would definitely stop there again unfortunately they had a large party on that night but still enjoyed the stay, only negative was the parking

Location was quite near to the Strood station, staffs were genuinely helpful, room was nice and cozy and clean. Had everything I needed in the room including heater, iron with board, dryer and kettle, tea/coffee with milk and good sized TV. Bed was comfortable with table and a good sofa chair. Toilet was good as well, looked very clean. Most importantly, my husband had come for training and had fever whole night which kept me awake and I requested to stay a bit later than the check out time to get some sleep and the staffs were extremely helpful and understanding. Would love to stay here again. Definitely recommend.

    Sole Street is really close to Cobham or Shorne to visit...

    Sole Street is really close to Cobham or Shorne to visit them or neighbouring locations. It is very quiet and the location is close to Sole Street train station which has trains to London. Nearby is Chatham or Rochester and we visited the Chatham Dockyard complex which was amazing. We also went onto Sissinghurst Gardens after our stay.

    Sole Street isn't far from bars, eateries and shops - as well as various places of interest such as Eagle Heights. We dined at Bartella's twice during our 3 night stay. And at Bowleys in Trottiscliffe the other evening.

    The outside decking/garden area was lovely, with table and chairs as well as sofa/easy chairs. Well thought out and beautifully looked after. The main living/sleeping space was very comfortable with everything to hand. Small notes- it’s hard to know where to sit to watch the tv because of its position The shower room is a bit cramped But none of that detracted from this comfort of this lovely property, I’d happily stay again As it’s only 2 miles from the A2 it would make an excellent stopover when travelling to the continent
