Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea.

Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea. Dunnottar Castle is the superstar here! There are plenty of options for dining and some lively pubs. Much of the town is walkable so it’s easy to get around. We only stayed for two nights but could have stayed longer. A short drive took us into a much larger town of Aberdeen. We explored Old Aberdeen with its university and history. Highly recommend Stonehaven.

Stonehaven is a lovely little town with lots of pubs and...

Stonehaven is a lovely little town with lots of pubs and cafe in which the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is lots to do for both adults and children. The walk along the front is fantastic and guaranteed to clear the head. A visit to Dunnottar Castle is also a must!

We loved the quaint shops the market place to people watch . The beach front walks discovering the harbour. I personally found it for a woman alone walking in the early morning s very relaxing dog walkers were friendly and l enjoyed my pace and looking at architecture and the amount of cafe s and entertainment fir kids and adults .

The walk along the harbor has some great art installations.

The walk along the harbor has some great art installations. A 2.5 mile hike takes you to Dunnottar Castle with a war memorial along the way. Breathtaking views along the coastal walk. We didn't get out of the harbor but there was a coop store close by and only a mile from the train station.

Stonehaven is a lovely town with good transport links to the surrounding area. There are a variety of shops and places to eat with something for everyone. As regular visitors to Stonehaven we always eat at our favourite Indian restaurant, Carron to Mumbai. The art deco restaurant is beautiful and the food is exceptional. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome. I would recommend a visit.

Stonehaven is a cute village with 2 pubs/restaurants. Not much to do but definitely a must see! The Captains Table restaurant was lovely and must be booked in advance as very busy and turning many people away.

This property is so well set up it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The team at heritage hosting were great and helped us with a problem quickly and efficiently despite a late hour. We parked right at the front door, the house had a large tv with movies, big fluffy towels, a really comfortable bed and good cooking facilities. Stonehaven is a great base to explore the area.

I travel often to Stonehaven but stayed at the hotel for the first time The staff and breakfast was excellent... Arrived very early from the London night train, was able to purchase breakfast from the hotel and leave our overnight bags while we visited the town until we could check in at 3pm Clean, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed staying there.... Will return soon

We spent 2 nights at Arduthie house and it was everything we needed. This lovely bed and breakfast in Stonehaven is stylish, comfy and felt like a home away from home. Our room was spotless and the mattress was so comfortable. On top of that, breakfast was excellent and the young woman working in the cafe couldn't have been nicer. We liked it so much we will be back.

Very spacious room, very easy check-in. Ample parking outside & around the area. Quiet area & walking distance to the beach. Great continental breakfast, plenty of choice of cereals, toast, fruit etc dog friendly which is always a bonus. The room was a cosy temperature especially on a colder day. Great location. Would stay again.

It is a characterful hotel that offers a fantastic menu. Placed in the harbour area, the hotel has views out to the sea. The staff are friendly and welcoming. May be a little old fashioned for some but I have found it to be a great refuse when in Scotland.
