Truly amazing place to stay. Immaculately clean and comfortable and the hosts were superb. Breakfast was fabulous and we felt at home. Appreciated the help with places to visit and was so easy with the location of the property.

The place is perfectly located at less than two walking minutes from the seaside and right in the centre of the city. The parking lot under the apartment would've been a timed one, but when we asked the police about it, they told us we shouldn't worry. The inside is so comfortable with two big televisions, a big and soft sofabed and a perfect bedroom. Also, the place is at around five minutes from the natural reserve of Fowlsheugh where we could see some puffins, and still five minutes away from the Dunnottar Castle. We really appreciated the stay

Stonehaven is a lovely friendly town, with good facilities and wonderful scenery. There is a great working harbour and lovely cliff walks, south to Dunnottar Castle and north up to Skaty Shore etc. Via the Slug Road inland there is good access to Royal Deeside, or north to Aberdeen. Down the coast going south there are so many lovely fishing villages as well as views of good farmland with the Grampians in the background.

Only in Stonehaven for one night but managed to see...

Only in Stonehaven for one night but managed to see Christmas stalls and attractive Christmas tree Saturday night, and enjoyed attractive walk 🚶‍♂️to the harbour area on Sunday morning. Both occasions were enjoyable, even in the cold air but the sea view on our walk was great.

It is winter time as we visited and a bit cold but we loved Stonehaven. the Ship Inn on the harbour is a good place to eat and drink and Carrons fish and chips are excellent and Stonehaven is easy to get around as it is flat so good for people who are a bit infirm or disabled. In the summer which we plan to visit next year it would be better as you could do more activities as you can walk all along the bay and then there's a boardwalk round to the harbour and at the other end of the bay near the beach is a fantastic ice cream shop

Lots to see and do in Stonehaven and if you like walking, photography and the sea this is a great place to visit. Also lots of historical places to visit. The Old Harbour is just beautiful in all weather. Interesting Tolbooth Museum with very friendly and helpful volunteers, great old pubs and amazing food and beers.

Stonehaven is the cutest little town.

Stonehaven is the cutest little town. The best thing about it is the outdoor swimming pool. There are not many of these around and it's just a dream. The water is heated to something like 35C in the summer. The water is fed from the sea and it is right at the beach. I would go to Stonehaven for that alone. The harbour is gorgeous and in the summer it's a hive of activity from sailing to paddle boarding. There's even saunas for the cold water swimmers. Also Dunnotar castle is in Stonehaven. It's an incredible place and not to be missed. Lastly, the fish and chips is just the best in Stonehaven. It's a lovely stop off for a weekend in Scotland.

Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea.

Stonehaven is a quaint little town by the sea. Dunnottar Castle is the superstar here! There are plenty of options for dining and some lively pubs. Much of the town is walkable so it’s easy to get around. We only stayed for two nights but could have stayed longer. A short drive took us into a much larger town of Aberdeen. We explored Old Aberdeen with its university and history. Highly recommend Stonehaven.

The area is brilliant well worth the visit. Excellent breakfast, evening meal not quite as good. Hotel location second to none, the doors to the rooms are very noisy to close & open. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Happy with the accommodation overall but not worth the price we paid unfortunately.

The property was exceptionally clean: not a speck of dust or dirt. The bed and furniture were comfy and the bathroom spacious. The location was secluded yet handy for Stonehaven and the area in general. Although most of the other houses, seemingly, were occupied we hardly heard anyone.

It was a great B&B. Would really recommend it. The breakfast was excellent with many options. Central but quiet area, close to citycentre and close to the shoreline. Short walking distance to the harbour area with some nice restaurants and pubs.

Lovely place to have a caravan. There was everything you would need. A nice decking area with a bbq. Only Five minutes in the car to Stonehaven. Kirsty was especially helpful recommending taxis and the best take aways.
