The B&B is in the nice little town Biggar and perfect if you want to visit Edinburgh or if you want to hike. Jane and Charlie are perfect hosts and both did everything that we feel comfortable. Thanks for some great days!!

Lovely decorated room with a really comfortable room. We had a very delicious breakfast. It was the best on our trip. The owner of the B&B were really nice and gave us good tips where to go for dinner. Thanks for your hospitality

    We were there to meet up with friends was ideal for a short visit and the area was handy for Biggar a couple of miles up the road which is very interesting Symington it’s self does not have much and the hotel is on a hill just off the main road

    Symington is not somewhere you would rate.

    Symington is not somewhere you would rate. Staying in the hotel and visiting Symington would not normally occur in the same sentence i.e. while you might want to stay in the hotel you would never think of visiting Symington - there is nothing to see.

    The hotel is absolutely stunning, and furnished impeccably. We met Sandra at breakfast on our first night and she was incredibly helpful and friendly, and on our second morning we didn’t make it for breakfast after a late night at a wedding. She ordered a taxi for us to pick up our car and made us a coffee while we waited. She couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were here for a wedding, so I’m trying to figure out excuses to come back. Highly recommended.

    Arrived and had an evening meal each, excellent food, thank you Chef and great service from the friendly helpful waiter. Had breakfast before we left, again excellent food, thank you Chef and great service from the friendly helpful waitress. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and well presented. It was our second stay for work and love this hotel.

    Had an excellent stay at Tinto Hotel. The table-served breakfast is top-notch. You fill out a slip with your choices at check-in, and it's ready when you arrive the next morning. Great variety and very attentive service. The room was newly renovated and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

    A quirky and charming hotel with old fashioned style and a wonderful staircase and sun lounge. Work is still being done to refurbish part of the rear of the building so view from room was uninspiring.
