The place is just a few minutes from London Stansted. It is probably less expensive if you catch an Uber outside airport perimeter. The breakfast was one of the best I had in my life, absolutly incredible. The room is very confortable and exceed our needs.

The cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and had everything you needed. It was very private and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the TV had a good range of channels and the WiFi signal was strong.

the pond outside windows of kitchen and bedroom tranquil and beautiful surrounding close to nature and the Hatfield Forrest, the bird songs during dawn and dusk was lovely generous provision of amenity Evi being very welcoming and thoughtful in offering hospitality (came out from the house next to the annex and saw us off when we were ready for check out) close to STN airport (8 mins drive) easy parking inside the annex, clear driving direction Evi recommended Lion and Lamb for dinning at Little Canfield, which was superb in food quality and the landscape outside the window was relaxing….

We received a friendly welcome from our hosts and found the room had everything in it we needed . There was a coffee maker, a toaster, a tea tray with biscuits, ordinary and oat milk and a corkscrew if needed. There was soap, shampoo and showergel in the dispensers. The bed was like a marshmellow and the pillows so comfortable. There was an additional heater just in case. All in all a lovely experience and a scenic, 9 minute drive to the airport.

Cheap basic accommodation for 5 min drive to airport. Advertised hotel opposite-this doesn’t serve food. Better hotel was Lamb and Lion two blocks away-lovely. Fish and chips -walk around the corner or Kebab van opposite.

Takeley has nothing going for it at all apart from its...

Takeley has nothing going for it at all apart from its closeness to the airport. A number of industrial units but no place to get a breakfast. The roads in and around are lined with cars that have been parked there by people who have gone on holiday but don't want to use the exorbitant and overcrowded parking at the airport.

We arrived for 1 night stay , nobody there as we arrived Key was in key box and did not work , we went into the pub to ask for help to be told it was nothing to do with them but she would try to contact someone, a man came and finally opened our room and to say we were disappointed was an understatement , tiny , dark , dirty , soap dispensers were empty , bedding smelled We had to sleep with door unlocked in case we couldn't get out again ! Looked like door had been kicked previously.

I was DISGUSTED to find out that my cousin, who drove 5...

I was DISGUSTED to find out that my cousin, who drove 5 hours to drop us off at Takeley, was fined 100 pounds for "So Called Parking" at the hotel. He stayed long enough to stretch his legs and plan his trip back home. He was there a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes. This IS NOT how you treat guests who are dropped off. What was he supposed to do PARK IN THE STREET!!!! I Apart from things not working In our first room and we had to be changed, then we find out about this BS fine. There was no mention of parking fines on booking.com. I would NOT recommend this hotel and its money making scheme to anyone. You would NEVER be treated like this in Australia. We welcome tourists not fine their drivers. Extremely disappointed !!!! When someone goes out of their way to make sure we arrived safely and then are treated like this it makes me sick.

Avoid if you value your health and safety. This property is being mis sold. It doesn't even have fully functioning electric, no fridge, black mould, disgusting shower heads, filthy. Avoid had no electric to charge phone or for medical equipment. Place is a death trap. They have no idea about disability access, you can't even get in the rooms with a wheelchair never mind get into bed or use the shower and toilet

The bell was not working waiting long for someone to come at the door , asked if was staying for i night or 2 nights then was just put in a room without a lock was so scared the whole night I kept my eyes open

Really 30m away from CSL shuttle. Easy to access the airport. The TV in the room and the AC were a big plus. The trop separation is a great thing ! Please note that from the center of London, you have 2h of travel, including a train to take to reach the airport. Then the shuttle. Do NOT try to reach the hotel by feet.

Lots of space, facilities are great, perfect for microwaving a quick meal in the night before an early flight. Sofa, table, dining area, all great. Location is perfect, 5 mins in a minicab from the Radisson blue hotel (a very short walk out of the airport) and the driver was very friendly and arrived fast.

The location and the price! We should stay overnight in order to fly with the very early flight in the morning. The buss stop is at the front of the hotel . The local bus to Stansted airport takes only 5 minutes . Very cheap option. There is the cosy local pub opposite the hotel.
