Amazing views, we looked out to the sea from our windows. If you had the windows open, you could hear the waves. It was very close to a lovely sandy beach where we had a swim. The food was really good - we had an excellent evening meal. We had no problem getting parking. The staff was friendly. We'll be coming back.

We arrived on a rainy day at the beginning of August. Although it was very busy at the bar and in the restaurant we were welcomed very warmly and could check in quickly. Our room was comfortable and the bed very cosy. We had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. Try the haggis-filo-wraps with Irn Bru chilli jam, they are fabolous. The beefburger was very juicy and the venison steak really tasty and tender. Enjoy the cranachan. The breakfast was also very delicious and was a perfect for the day.

The staff was amazing. The location is located across from a little bay that had dolphins that night. The beds were so comfortable as were the pillows.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, the check in was quick and smooth, the room was clean and had everything we needed, it was nice to have breakfast brought to our room in the morning and also we could choose what we wanted to have. Fresh ingredients and fresh fruit from their garden. Overall amazing stay, definitely recommend Cartmel to anyone.
