Our chalet was spacious, modern and bright with a separate lounge area. The pub on the property was cozy and the food and staff were excellent. The only downside was the spotty and weak wifi and the tv did not work. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property.

Breakfast was excellent. I was unexpectedly delayed and a staffer stayed up to let me into my room at 12:30 a.m. Another staffer drove me to the Highgrove gardens when it became evident that there would be no taxi service that day. I was also driven to the Kemble train station when my trip was finished. I was very grateful for all these extras. It had not occurred to me that I would not be able to take a taxi or bus--Tetbury is tiny. The Royal Oak is located a 5-minute walk from the little town.

We stayed here the night before my wedding in January. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The house is located in a beautiful location with stunning views out over the countryside. The house is decorated to an impeccable standard! You can see how much love and care the owners have put into the house, it really shows. There was a bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us too which was a very lovely touch. Overall the house is wonderful.

The employees went out of their way to make our stay as leisurely as possible! From carrying all of our luggage up two floors to our room (I had 3 suitcases and two backpacks on my own) to taking us in their own personal car to our spa appointment that evening because there were no Ubers available, they stopped at nothing! We felt like princesses! They also had a room that accommodated three, which most hotels in the areas did not offer.

Tetbury lovely market town with interesting shops plenty...

Tetbury lovely market town with interesting shops plenty pubs and restaurants to choose from. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walks and even if weather not good most places dog friendly to take shelter. Nearby Cirencester absolutely smashing , antique shops , clothes shops ,charity shops, loads to see and do . There is a most beautiful church a must to see . So much to see I plan to come back soon.

Beautiful place in the country to stay. Wealth of shops, restaurants from high end to low end of your budget. The buildings are breathtaking, the history oozes from the place. Scenery just outstanding, a pure and proper breath of fresh air

We had a great stay, the highlight each morning was the really delicious breakfast! It’s in easy walking distance (up a short hill) of Tetbury centre. We had a slight problem with the shower on the last morning but it was rectified. Lots of great pubs, cafes and restaurants in the town. We liked the Snooty Fox

It's just a wonderful little town with so much to see there...

It's just a wonderful little town with so much to see there and in the surrounding area. Tetbury itself has some lovely independent shops, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommend for a couple of days.

Beautiful town with a variety of independent shops / antiques shops and cafés. There were also some lovely places to eat in the evening. Very picturesque. Ot is easy to ealk around Tetbury. Everthing is in walkung distance. Would definitely stay again.

The service was exceptionall from the moment we arrived. We received a really friendly greeting and even had our case taken to our room after checking in. The room was warm, comfortable and inviting with a really spacious bathroom. We loved the location in the heart of Tetbury a charming little Cotswolds town full of character and lovely independent shops. We enjoyed a delicious evening mea andl breakfast both of which were really y good value for money. I would not hesitate to book this hotel once again. 46

Good breakfast although on the first day it took nearly 45 minutes to come due to 11 people all arriving at the same time. The second day was perfect and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for it to be cooked. The bedrooms are small but very comfortable and very clean. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. The location is about a 7 minute walk to the centre of Tetbury and up a very steep hill but as long as you are healthy you'll be fine.

The hotel is well located near the centre of Tetbury and has ample free parking (unlike some of the other hotels that are right in the centre. The bar/dining area is spacious and welcoming. There is a beautiful herb garden with plenty room to sit. The staff, especially Natalie and Matt, are outstanding.

All hotels rely on their staff. That is why it is so good from reception to ckeck out. helpful, smartly dressed, smile, and polite I can't eat most things for medical reasons. The waiter, chief, took it in their stride, Dogs loved, it great walks near by.
