This is a wonderful place, like home away from home. Amazing facilities, plenty of space, even to entertain if you wanted to. For us, it was just a great warm hideaway while visiting family.

My mum and I came to visit for a night and were so blown away with the service and facilities. The gentleman and lady at reception were both so helpful and kind. They showed us all the great spots to visit. We had breakfast also in the morning which was superb. Overall, one of our most favourite stays in the UK! We will recommend to everyone we know and if we are ever back in the area, we won't stay anywhere else!

Our room was not ready upon our arrival, so we were offered welcome drink while waiting and complimentary breakfast the next day. This situation could not be handled better in my view. Hotel rooms, facilities and breakfast quality are great.

Full breakfast menu, cooked to order, plus the continental buffet while waiting for our food to arrive to round a happy, full belly to start our day of walking around Bath. We had just one night to tour Bath and the staff were so friendly in helping us plan out the day and how to best walk around the whole area. The next morning they were able to safely store our luggage while we finished touring around before catching a train back to London. Would highly recommend the Royal Hotel!

    Although the accomodation is linked to a pub, it is not over...

    Although the accomodation is linked to a pub, it is not over the bar or restaurant and has a separate entrance so we were not disturbed at all. There was ample parking on site and very friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although breakfast is not served, there is a kitchen which is well equipped for self service and plentiful milk, cereals, tea, coffee and bread for toast : perfect for our stay..... thank you Seven Stars!

    We were travelling to a wedding in the local area, and it's a beautiful place to stay. The roads are a bit tight so if you're not a confident driver be warned! Really close to Bath too so if you want to pop into the city its not a long drive. We definitely want to come back and explore Somerset some more!

    Quiet village outside Bristol.

    Quiet village outside Bristol. Nice village pub, good places to walk the dog etc. Great for overnight stays or up to a few days. Sedate and peaceful, so if you're looking for excitement, this place isn't for you.
