The entire location is stunning.
The entire location is stunning. Be prepared for lots of photos. Just walk along the row of shops,get some fish and chips or an ice cream and enjoy the view. Some accommodation places are high up on the hill so if mobility is a problem then recommend down on waterfront level. Most accommodations have rooms up stairs as well. I would return again. Picturesque great little seafront. There are a number of nice restaurants and bars. Shops catered for all needs whether touristy or supplies. Sea trips were easy to find and the ferry from Tobermory to Ardnamurchan was also a smooth experience.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We stayed only one night and probably should have stayed two...
We stayed only one night and probably should have stayed two. The town itself is lovely but takes only a short time to stroll along the harbour and browse in the gift shops. With another day we would have done the walk up to Tobermory lighthouse and maybe taken a whale watching tour. Several excellent restaurants - we went to MishDish which was great and would have been good to sample more than one. Definitely worth a 2 night stay, but maybe not more, unless you plan to drive or cycle around the island and visit other attractions such as distillery, nature walks etc.Guest review byClareUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A charming village with nice walks.
A charming village with nice walks. We had an absolutely lovely meal at the Michelin-star-deserving An Cala Ciuin and would have liked to have tried some of the other restaurants in town. If you come without your car and want to see more in the area, be sure to check the public transportation schedules - we were disappointed that the buses to Calgary Bay & the Art in Nature Sculpture Trail didn't run on Sundays.Guest review byNicoletteNetherlands

Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses.
