Lovely cozy cottage with excellent facilities. Perfect central location for exploring Aberdeenshire and neighbouring Moray. Quiet peaceful setting surrounded by rolling farmland with lovely walks and lots of wildlife. Only 5 mins drive from Turriff a nice wee town with shops, pubs and a great chipper. Lovely friendly hosts also, even gave us a gift of some gorgeous honey produced on the farm. Overall 5 star.

The staff are all fantastic! We love Colin! and I’m sorry I cannot remember the name of the lovely woman who took my daughter’s meds (that needed refrigeration), and secured them for us. Everyone was so helpful. And the chef - both the evening meal (Scottish mussels are so much more tender than NZ ones), and the amazing cooked breakfast - exceptional cuisine. We loved the Scottish food, yet also accommodating us and providing oat flat white coffee. We all loved our stay with you. THANK YOU ALL!

The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful a highlight. Room was spotless, well appointed and welcoming. Must make a special note the restaurant was outstanding, the standard of food was exceptional and the service was delightful. Highly recommend, the view over the bay alone is worth considering to stay.

I did lots of cycling in the area with a local lad, an old friend, who put together some excellent routes using all kinds of routes away from motor traffic. Lovely farmlands nearby and further away a seascape that was sublime.

Went into Turriff on a number of occasions for groceries or just to look around. We found it a lovely place and very the people very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of car parks which weren't expensive either. Highly recommended trying Pitta's Takeaway there food was excellent, all cooked fresh and reasonably priced to. One night we tried Skipper's for fish, chips and curry sauce, they'd ran out of curry sauce so had what was meant to be mushy peas, but they weren't very mushy. A regular fish was just a little bit bigger then a fish finger and we found it extremely expensive and very disappointing to say the least. We will definitely avoid next time we visit.

Beautiful rolling hills dotted with the most charming little coastal towns. I only missed the breathtaking Highlands for a second. The contrast was striking, but the Scottish North Sea coast is simply different and no less beautiful than the mountains. Fantastic seaside resorts and beaches, quaint little roads, and magnificent castles and fortresses. Highly recommended!
