This is our second visit to The Bridge House, so we obviously like it a lot. The accommodations are beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is nestled at the base of the woods, so the views and walks are amazing!! Grab a drink, sit outside near the babbling brook and picturesque bridge, as you see Alton Castle above.

It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

The location was very near to Alton Towers. The cottage was newly built and very quiet. The place is very clean. The best part was the parking with the cottage. We had a great experience.

The hostess was lovely, more than helpful with everything. Made us a cup of tea and breakfast in the morning. The bed was so comfortable, had lovely sleep. Would highly recommend, 10/10

    Hotel is in a lovely setting, plenty of parking, and very tastefully decorated. Lovely views, and spacious restaurant, bar, and bedrooms. Very close to Alton Towers. Not signposted from main road so we had a bit of a tour of the village before we found it.

    Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us.

    Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us. A clean, comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The staff were first class- very friendly and helpful. You enter the hotel from a rear car park, which doesn’t give the best first impression, but once in the main reception area you are re-assured. The hotel is on a very quiet, peaceful location. It is not sign-posted at all from the A52 through Whiston, which is not ideal especially as the turning into the very narrow lane is tight and not obvious.

    Delitefull place to stay with gorgeous scenery and lots to do being close to Alton towers and a golf course on site with the first tee only 30 meters from the front door. Look forward to our next stay.

    Excellent. Couldn't fault the stay. Staff were exceptional. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Alton towers was less than 10mins away. Thank you to the staff who decorated our room for my girlfriends 40th birthday. Totally shocked when she opened the door; balloons, card and prosecco.

    Beautiful place, clean, and well maintained, the staff were all so friendly and helpful, really nice breakfast included and little extras like bottled water at the side of the bed. Comfortable Cosy rooms with everything you need. We stayed here after our trip to Alton towers it is only a 10 minute drive to the hotel. The restaurant and bar were still open which were both great and welcomed after a long day out in the cold.

    The property is in a beautiful location and the staff were fantastic. We were at an event and checked in really late in the evening. I had called the hotel to let them know and they kept the kitchen open for us after it was meant to have closed so that we could eat. It was amazing. The food was also excellent.

    Hotel was lovely, great location for the Churnet Steam Valley train, bit more than I would usually pay but was a treat, pretty setting, friendly staff, breakfast was really good, quiet and relaxing. Room was spacious, clean, shower good.
