Great location for a family holiday - there are plenty of restaurants and things for kids to do in Woolacombe or within a short drive. Beach is lovely (although check tides!), wind protectors are a good idea on a windy day and be careful with sandwiches or those pesky seagulls will have them ;) Seems like everyone was trying their luck with bodyboarding.

Woolacombe is a lovely place. I lived there for 18 years.

Woolacombe is a lovely place. I lived there for 18 years. My son still lives there . The beach has a blue flag. There are also several little coves to visit. Morthoe is very pretty, but not much to do there.

It was our first time to Woolacombe and it is now one of our favourite places! The beach is amazing and felt very safe having the lifeguards there. The town is great. Lots of lovely shops and places to eat. We had a delicious meal at The Jube and the best ice cream from Fudgies bakehouse. We also went to Barricane beach, what a hidden gem that is! Even the lovely man working in the carpark was great. Lots of places to park. We are excited to come back!

What a lovely little town.

What a lovely little town. Plenty of bars, cafes and shops of several different styles. However Woolacombe’s crowning glory is its beach, acres of golden sands, sand dunes, beach huts, beach bars & pebbled coves, is a beach combers delight! It’s definitely worth a visit! There is plenty of parking in either the car parks (£12) for a full day or kerbside parking along the front for £5.50 for a maximum stay of 4 hours!

The cleanliness of the town, beaches and public facilities.

The cleanliness of the town, beaches and public facilities. The beaches were superb with good water quality, the RNLI service covered the length of the beach , also the observing the sea by boat. Plenty of choice for food , family and dog friendly.

Location very close to the beach, pubs and shops. Woolacombe is small and winding down in November while we were there. The apartment is excellent and has everything you might need. It's modern, clean and equipped. The complex has a good indoor pool you need to book.

Really lovely apartment - spacious, clean and well equipped. The terrace is a real sun trap. We were lucky with the early season weather and the fact that the other apartments were empty.
