We had an amazing time at Anna Mare! From the moment we arrived, the host Spyros made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered all the comforts we could possibly need. The location was ideal—peaceful, yet close enough to the beach and local tavernas. We especially loved relaxing on the terrace in the evenings and waking up to stunning views each morning. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Halkidiki!

I highly recommend this place. Location 2 minutes from the center of the town full of taverns where you can eat Greek dishes. The hotel is very clean, tidy, daily cleaning by the staff, towels changed every 2 days. The pool is clean, well-kept. The staff was amazing. We were greeted very nicely and shown around the facility. The rules that prevail there were explained to us very precisely. The staff was always willing to help. Delicious breakfasts, a large selection of typical food and traditional Greek dishes. I highly recommend it. Supposedly a 3-star hotel, but we felt served like in a 5-star hotel.

A wonderful old town, with many restaurants, shops, bakeries, snack bars, a nice pedestrian zone, located at a height above the sea. The local two or three beaches are sandy, rather narrow, the sea has an uneven rocky bottom. Going to the beach is easy, because you go downhill, but on the way back there is quite a climb, so for small children and people with limited mobility it is better to use a car.

Afytos is by far the most beautiful place in this part of Greece. Unlike other nearby towns, it carries a unique history and a special vibe that you simply don’t find elsewhere. The distinctive architecture, with its charming mix of stone and wood, gives the village character, while the narrow streets create an authentic atmosphere that feels timeless. Walking through Afytos is like stepping into another world, one that is rich, welcoming, and truly unforgettable.

This is a beautiful town and the people there are very friendly and will to help where is possible. To get the best experience while visiting it would be advisable to rent a car as there are some amazing beaches in the surrounding areas that are not accessible unless you take a taxi or rent a car

For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek...

For me Afitos is quite expensive compared to other Greek islands I have been to (Leros, Paros, Milos etc) which offered comparable more services with higher standards. However, I think it is a must-stop in Kassandra, and I think it is a very good central hub to stay and plan your next routes in Halkidiki.

Afitos is a beautiful Greek town with amazing restaurants, shops, bars and beaches. There are also a few supermarkets and bakeries which are good value. Afitos is really easy to walk around. There are some steep hills to get to the beach, but you can drive if you have a car. We hired a small boat for 3 hours which was really easy, and took a taxi to the local marina to pick this up. Also scuba diving in the area close by, and my daughter was picked up for the morning and dropped off safely. I'd recommend Norbert from Dive Club Kassandra who is PADI qualified and very quick to respond. We would definitely recommend as a quiet holiday getaway.

Afitos is a wonderful place.

Afitos is a wonderful place. There are beautiful beaches around. The restaurants and cafes are excellent. It is very enjoyable to walk around and you can find ice cream and coffee everywhere. Also the souvenir shops are very tasteful. We loved Afitos both in terms of architecture and facilities!

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! We were only there for one night, but our room was upgraded to a beautifully decorated apartment, which was a wonderful surprise. From the warm welcome to the peaceful green areas, the peacocks, and the fish, every detail was perfect. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back when we're next in Afitos. It's a truly beautiful place with incredible attention to detail.

Breakfast and dinner were good. The food was delicious. The location of the hotel is amazing, on top of the hill with spectacular view to the blue sea. The hotel has a private elevator and stairs to a small private beach below. The beach has some rocks but the water is very clear and there are lots of small fishes. Afitos village is just 5 mins away with car where you can enjoy stone houses, local cuisine and night bars.
