The suite is absolutely breathtaking! With service food and drink to match. We ate in the restaurant upstairs - Orizontes - every night of our stay, some of best fresh fish we have eaten. The staff can’t do enough for you. Dimitris welcomed us and looked after us our whole stay. We will most definitely be back.

We were lucky enough to spend 5 x nights at La Grotta in May 2023 and it was a special trip for our family. From the very first moment we booked online, Natalia was so kind in giving us advice (to our many questions) prior to our arrival :) She helped us organise a surprise birthday lunch for my husband, including booking the restaurant and getting a cake with his name on it for us! It all went perfectly, Natalia is an absolute asset to La Grotta. The on-site restaurant is lovely too, with a delicious menu and breakfast every morning was wonderful, with lots of options for everybody. There were 5 of us travelling together, we had rooms next to each other on the top level, with adjoining balconies and a view to die for - We had so much fun and we can't wait to go back one day!

I was extremely impressed with the hotel. Everything was perfect – a wonderful room with all the necessary amenities and a fabulous hotel territory. I would especially like to thank the staff – any request was fulfilled immediately, and they were all very pleasant and polite. The hotel has a great location - many bars, taverns, and shops nearby. The breakfasts were delicious and had everything we needed. The highlight of our stay was the Greek Night at the Nisos bar! It was an unforgettable experience with traditional dances, singing, an exciting fire show, and even guest participation. It was truly incredible!

The property was very quiet and very clean, the water and the beach are very clean, we stayed late in the evening on the beach listening to music and watching the stars, the view was beautiful, in the morning the sunrise is a wonderfull, everything was perfect, the owners were very polite and good people

It is a very spacious villa, incredibly clean, and has a very hospitable and friendly owner. They provided us with welcome wine and Zakynthos sweets, all the essentials for the first days of our stay, such as bread, ham and cheese, water, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, and much more. The villa was cleaned every other day and all the sheets and towels were changed. The owner's mother even brought us homemade Mosaka :-) The villa is very quiet and without any neighbours. The view was fantastic and much better than the pictures. All the facilities were working in very good condition. There was a big BBQ and several beds in the garden.

On our first visit, during the day, we found that the cruise...

On our first visit, during the day, we found that the cruise boat touts were quite aggressive, dominating every car park available, and tried to stop you whilst travelling. Felt very intimated, so moved on, and this really spoilt our first visit. We returned at a later time at around 5 pm, when they had gone home and found this a much better time to visit where we could enjoy a peaceful stroll and visit the local shops and Taverna. This experience could be off putting for many new visitors and maybe the activities should be more restrained.

I really loved the area of Agios Nikolaos and would stay...

I really loved the area of Agios Nikolaos and would stay here again. My only caution is to rent a car. It's not near town and you can't walk from location to location. But it's quiet, and it's beautiful in Agios Nikolaos.

Agios Nikolaos and its surroundings is "nature beauty" and is very tranquil. This location is not very suitable for small children. There are few beaches and the beaches are rocky and pebble. Not many opportunities to rent umbrella and sunbeds. On the other hand there are many options to rent a boat and admire the beauty of the sea. The sea is crystal clear. We liked Nobelos restaurant. You definitely need a car in this area.

The house is a perfect holiday house and in a nice calm location. The house is very well equipped and nothing is missing. It is also getting well cleaned every 3 days. The Seaview is great (top sunrise). Within walking distance good restaurants and one small beach. We loved the day we rented a boat from the Port nearby and Makris Gialos beach a few Kms by car away.

Great location overlooking Agios Nikolaos, there are some excellent restaurants nearby, and Agios is perfect for hiring a boat or popping to a bar. You are about 20 minutes from the shipwreck beach. Get up early and see the sun rise, or stay up late and turn all the lights off and look at the stars. All the staff were amazingly hospitable, and Dimitris was a wonderful host, who even helped us recover our car when the rear wheels got stuck when the ground behind our car collapsed when visiting a local restaurant.

The staff were lovely and so accommodating, they answered every question we had. We loved the bbq outside which was easy to get going with all the equipment they left you and their was fresh meat sold down at agios nikolaos. We had a quad bike which took us about a 4 minute drive down to all the restaurants and beach which were all amazing. The view at the suite was incredible and the bed was so comfy!!

amazing family biz in a peaceful and mindful area. the room was spacious and very comfortable, with an AMAZING sea view. the beach set up is just perfect . the hotel is close to a small port with some nice restaurants, supermarket.. a car is a must if you have plans to visit the area. definitely will go back with the family

The villa was very comfortable for two families sharing. The pool area and view was exceptional, as was the easy access to shops and restaurants in Agios Nikolaos. Mirsini was also a wonderful host. We cannot wait to visit again.
