My stay here was amazing! Popi was such an amazing host, so friendly and generous. Popi picked us up from the port and drove us up to the rooms which she really didn't have to do. Each morning a fresh breakfast was delivered to the door. I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful Popi was. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the photos don't do it justice. Location was great, short walk to the square which has lots of cute restaurants and the bus stop. You can also walk to the Venetian castle up the hill to watch the sunset. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend Popi Studios!

What could I say about this apartment. Amazing views of the castle and port, beautiful room with nice touches, kitchenette, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, very kind and helpful hosts and amazing breakfast, home baked pastries and cakes which was different everyday! Our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it if you want to fully experience Greek hospitality and a comfortable stay. The hosts very kindly prepared the room earlier than the check in time for us, we had different pastries for breakfast in our room every day, the room was beautiful, and the place was so quiet and chilled. They took very good care of us, and everyone was very kind, responsive and very helpful whenever we needed help. We loved our stay and we would definitely go back to it! We had a great two night stay at Atlantic Island Suites- I couldn't recommend it more highly! Leonidas was really welcoming and gave us some great tips for our stay. The rooms are brilliant - super close to everything and with an incredible view. Beautifully designed room with a VERY comfy bed and really quiet even though you are in the centre of everything. A special mention to our friendly cleaner who was so helpful and kept it spotless!

Magical views, great food, good restaurants ( from 1/2$-$-$$) close to Livadi beach ( steep but walking distance) close to port . Cheap taxi service.5€ to get around.Astybus (electric small busses)picks you up where every you are ( cheap). Very friendly locals.

Another cute Greek island.

Another cute Greek island. I have been to 15+ Greek islands over 50 times in total. It is similar to many other Greek islands. Small, cute. The castle and the old town looks really lovely. We went in mid-August. Although the island had probably around 5000 visitors, because there are few restaurants and options, all places were packed. Most of my Greek friends consider Astypalaia as the best Greek island, however in my view it's fine, cute, but I wouldn't say it's more beautiful than many other Greek islands.

The Chora looks great and picturesque, especially from distance. Nice walk to the castle and great to walk in the small narrow streets. Very few shops with art, local products/local art, or galleries though in the small streets. Instead there are mostly restaurants. Most shops/restaurants are set around the area of the windmills which although nice, do not have real view (although if you walk to the castle you get a breathtaking view, but not while seated). Difficult to park in busy times

I've traveled to many islands in Greece. Asytpalaia is the friendliest andprettiest of them all. The town beach is clean, the other beaches like jewels. Food is generally very good and fresh. Everything is in walking distance, some steep steps involved but you can't have the hypnotic beauty and tranquility here without a little gentle pain. The town and streets are spotless and the numerous cats cute and well looked after by the people. Local grocers on the port have just about everything you need and if you can possibly tire of the food at Ageri in Hora or Astropolis in Livadi theres a great Pizza and pasta place right down on the port.

Not sure I want to encourage more people to visit, as this island of less than 2,000 inhabitants is indeed a hidden gem! We were charmed and delighted by this little island as a whole, and in Chora I was pleasantly surprised to find wonderful, chic boutiques, an abundance of phenomenal tavernas, exceptional restaurants (Akti, Cucina), well balanced cocktail bars and a lively atmosphere, as well as some of the best baclava I've ever. It's not for the faint of heart as there are a lot of stairs and hills to climb to get to the castle and the port. The initiative to get the island fully electric is also commended, Astybus was a fantastic alternative to hiring a car and we used it almost every day - there are several pick up points in Chora, which makes it a great base to explore. We'll definitely be back!

Super Host and hospitality. The Best Place i ve stayed so far. Breakfast, close to castle, close to old town, 20 min beach walking distance. Got picked up at port and she drove me back at 5:30 am. Speaks very good english, ... Could pay with card and she brought self baked stuff. Better than any Hotel or any place i ve stayed so far in Greece. Price top. Shower Gel stuff and all the goodies were there too. Ευχαριστώ🙏🏻

Everything was lovely and nice! The decoration was nice, simple and tasteful! The breakfast though was the best part! Froso (the owner) was cooking every morning pastries, pizza, cakes, pasta flora! I can’t even list everything that was baked and offered every day! She is a lovely lovely lady and made the experience even more spectacular! I will definitely go back to see her and stay with her!

The view from the room was spectacular!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was plenty but a little bit uphill to get to. Walking access to restaurants and bars, except you do have to go up 92 steps to go back to the hotel. However, it isn't hard and the view while doing so is fantastic.

Dimitris is probably the best host ever. Great communicator, always available and happy to help. The studio is comfortable or two people and is perfectly located in the heart of the old chora, with a lovely sight on the port. Amenities and buses are down the street near the mills.
