Location is the best and very easy to find. Really wished we’d booked a sea view room; our class of room could have city/side view. We got the worst city view but that’s the chance we took. Balcony was big enough. Breakfast provides enough choice to have something different each day. The coffee was good but there’s also Nescafe if preferred. The hot options can become a little cold later in the service though. The dining room carpet needs some attention as there are a few trip hazzards. Lovely view from the first floor. The small lounge, cafe bar and restaurant are lovely. We used each if them during our stay. Staff were ok; a special mention to Anthony who performed a number of roles and was lovely. Few things needed attention on arrival (missing balcony chair/coat hangers/safe left locked) but were dealt with promptly when Reception were informed. The hotel is older style and a little worn around the edges in places but our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was large and we slept well in it. There was plenty of storage and the lighting was good. We had a small table and a couple of chairs. Air con. was good. The bathroom was perfectly fine although the paintwork on the ceiling requires a bit of attention. Toiletries were provided and replaced along with fresh towels each day. Housekeeping was great.

The staffs were super kind and the location is perfect for the airshow. I was there for Athens Flying Week airshow. The location is really close to the airshow, there are markets and restuarants near the hotel. I didn't have time to do the laundry by myself, but the staffs were kind enough to get my laundry to the laundromat. The parking was easy. Overall, I had great time staying in this hotel. Highly recommended.

Location was perfect, in the city center and quiet at the same time. The host was very polite and friendly. A clean and tidy apartment. We had an issue with the bed. It wasn’t very stable, there was some problem with the slats. We informed the host the next day and he immediately brought a carpenter who fixed the problem. Something we really appreciated was that he also gave us a partial refund for the inconvenience. A true professional. We will definitely choose this place again.

I had a fantastic stay at this property and would definitely come back. The apartment is fully renovated with great attention to detail – the furniture is all new, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything felt modern, fresh, and super clean. It’s also fully equipped with everything you might need, which made the stay very convenient. The location couldn’t be better – right in the city centre, close to everything. Self check-in was easy and smooth, and the property felt very secure throughout my stay. Great value for money!

it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!! you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant? around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup! prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!

Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge...

Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge famous for its "crazy waters" meaning the high and low tide which you can actually see . It has beautiful cafés on the promenade in front of the canal fantastic shopping, lots of pedestrian streets for good quality shopping, great food. It is a great escape from Athens for a weekend or a couple of days at the entrance of Evia island. You can go to further destinations in Evia easily. I would highly recommend the city for a short stay. Bear in mind that it is difficult to get around by car but the parking spots are very affordable. I would recommend the seaside of Lefkanti 20 min away

The facilities we very good but the daily upkeep of our room was not up to the standard we would expect given what we paid.. I was totally overawed by the total dominance of the French this resort who at times felt they owned the hotel.. I know we live in a very multicultural world however the dominance of the French left a sour taste in my mouth.

It's a decent city, just over an hour away from Athens.

It's a decent city, just over an hour away from Athens. The seaside promenade has some good tavernas. Perhaps the best part of this town in its excellent Archaeological Museum, located near the bus station.

Chalkida is close enough to travel to nearby villages and still have time to come back and enjoy the area. There are many coffee shops and restaurants that are walking distance. Great place that is close to Athens, about an hour away.

When we first arrived the city did not look too welcoming, but as we saw the city by night and it's nightlife it already looked and felt a lot better. It just took us 2 days to find the shopping street which was really nice and the prices where good. Although the language skills of the local populations not the best, so either learn greek or have a lot of patience.

perfect flat, everything is like on the photos. high level of comfort that you will not expect, when you enter the house. Teh Apartment is very, very clean, no insects. perfect location 100m from the Old Brigde. its the center of Chalkida and you can reach shopping mall, Cafes, Restaurants within 5-10 Minutes by foot. with our car we found - by luck - everyday a free parking in front of the house, and with car you can reach all wonderful places in a short time. Windows and Balcony have direct view to Euripos within 50 meters.

It’s very cosy and clean. There’s a nice pool and also a nice beach area with sunbeds and umbrellas free for hotel guests. It’s a bit out of Chalkida and you will need a car but it’s really nice to be out of the busy areas. They also have a nice gym. The breakfast was nice with lots of varieties. Parking on the site is free. We also ate at The Meditranian restaurent of the hotel which was really good. The staff are really freindly and nice, they even helped us print out our ferry tickets at 4h30 AM.

A lovely beach bar round the corner. We like to explore when we’re on holiday, we always hire a car. From here we could easily get to both the North and South of Evia as well as trips to Athens and other destinations on the mainland. Gabi, our host, was fantastic, really helpful. A 10 out of 10 holiday.

the receptionists were very nice giving me a lot of recommendations to visit. try to park your car in the harbor not on the parking lot that is situated on the same street with the hotel- the one with yellow. that one costs 15€/day and the one in the harbor is 4€/day. Chalkida is insane with the traffic.
