Beautiful resort hotel right next to the beach. We got a free upgrade, which was super sweet. The staff is amazing and willing to help. The beach is small, but we had no problems with sun beds and umbrellas. Really, enjoyable experience.

Beautiful renovated 19th century neoclassical building. An impressive collection of antiques but with lots of modern fixtures that make the stay comfortable. Plentiful and varied breakfast – the landlady is a magician with pies! Spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms with balconies. Close to the town center, shops, museums and restaurants. Large free public parking near-by. Very helpful, courteous and efficient staff. I want to point out that staff went out of their way to help us resolve an issue that in no way implicated them.

Kalamata is a well organized city with parks in the middle of downtown. Great for families with young children. Several cultural events take place i.e. we attended a documentary festival. The part of the city by the sea has its own life. During the olive picking period, it attracts many of the olive grove owners, who do not necessarily reside in Kalamata. The city is very friendly to visitors.Public parking in the middle of the city provides convenient parking.

Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location.

Kalamata is a working city not just a tourist location. It is a great place to discover the Peloponnese from if one does not mind driving. The city's farmers' market was wonderful (Wednesdays and Saturdays). It has a lot of great restaurants along the beach and the harbor. Walking around Old Town is a great place to spend a morning.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city.

Kalamata is a wonderful, modern greek city. It has a decent population, nice long beach friendly for pedestrians and cyclists. There are also other beaches and seanic spots within an hour of Kalamata. There are ancient historic cites nearby, such as the nearby ancient city of Messene. The city blends a traditional feel in its Old Town, which climbs a castle hill, with modern infrastructure, and hosts cultural events like the annual Dance Festival. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from exploring ruins and museums to water sports, hiking, and enjoying the local gastronomy.

Kalamata is a good base for a relaxing holiday, especially the Pharae hotel regular buses to the town, flat walk along the beach, buses at end of season get less, hiring a car several nearby areas well worth exploring or even a one night stay, depending on your interests

Kalamata is a beautiful city with great shopping and a nice variety of restaurants with tasty local dishes, especially their famous pig roast, "gourounopoula". Lovely cafes and beaches as well. Also a good location to take day trips from and visit other beautiful towns.

Beautiful city center, great places to eat, drink and have fun! The cost at Navarinou str is very nice and close to the city center! There's a wonderful view and sunset at Verga, a beautiful bar called Kastraki, you should definitely visit! Many places to visit and have a daily trip like Pylos, Methoni, Foinikounta, Koroni, Kyparissia to name a few.

This is a hotel for views. Superb location up on the hills, overlooking the gulf of Kalamata. Looking for those sunsets - there you have them. The hotel is a clean and tidy, interiors well kept. Clean outside pool area with infinity-like pool and bar serving the area from inside. Nice balconies for sitting, having a glass off wine and watching the sunset. Neat.

This was one of the best places we've stayed in Greece! Eleni was a great host. This house had everything you need, washing machine, parking, plenty of space, and a fully equipped kitchen. It had things you wouldn't find anywhere else like a first aid kit in the washroom. Eleni even brought us some fresh figs, which were delicious! I would stay here again 100%

Lovely new hotel, clean, and with beautiful design. Rooms and bathrooms in particular were lovely, with spacious balconies. Right on the seafront, with lots of space to sit out front in the cafe / bar area. Location was great - ten minute walk to swimming areas, half an hour walk in to the main and historic Kalamata centre. Great to have own car park also.

The hotel is at a very convenient location, close to Kalamata beach and to all the restaurants and beach bars. It was easy to find parking around the hotel and the room was very spacious with a big balcony. The staff was polite and prepared for us a basic breakfast to take with us to our early flight.
