Stavros was one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met. From the first day, he made us feel at home—he noticed we didn’t have a car and immediately offered to take us to the supermarket and waited patiently. Throughout our stay, he was always there to help with a smile. From the moment we entered, everything felt peaceful and magical, with a calm and positive energy all around. The place has a beautiful pool and a garden full of trees and flowers, including a jasmine tree with the most amazing scent. We truly enjoyed our time here and will miss this special place.

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment, which has been furnished with great attention to detail. It really does look as great as it does in the photos and is very spacious and cozy. Everything has been thought of. There are even parasols to borrow for the beach and mosquito plugs for the room (which you don't need, though, as there are even fly screens). The apartment was cleaned and the bed made every day, and fresh towels were provided for the pool. The pool is perfect for relaxing, it is very quiet and everything here is also beautifully designed. You feel completely at home and want for nothing. It was great to enjoy breakfast on the small private terrace in the courtyard. We highly recommend ordering breakfast from Anna the day before; it is delivered fresh to your door and tastes wonderful! Of course, you can also prepare your own meals in the kitchen, which is fully equipped. The location is also very good, as there is a bakery, restaurants, and a small shop within walking distance. You don't hear any noise from the airport here. We still recommend renting a car to explore the island's beautiful beaches and small towns. Simply fantastic! We also particularly liked the fact that there are only five rooms, making the hotel really small. We usually had the pool all to ourselves. You feel right at home at the Poesia Hotel, and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Anna, for everything!

Everything! The location and hospitality were fantastic. There's a cute dog and a cute cat that loves petting. Owners are hospitable and very helpful with car rentals and provided tips on what-to-do around town. Walking distance to local market and town square with lots of cafes and restaurants. Close enough to see the turtles coming up the harbour during late morning. Katia introduced us to take the ferry to Lixouri which we would not have found out online. Free parking right across the street. You definitely need a car to get the best of Kefalonia. The room and shower are very good. They upgraded our room too. This is the best place we've stayed throughout our 2-week trip all over Greece.
