Everything! It is stunningly located overlooking the Mediterranean Sea as far as the eye can see. Facilities are gorgeous and so beautifully designed. Our room was huge and with private pool, terrace, even a record player! And the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had an unforgettable stay at Avaton. Our room was beautifully modern, incredibly spacious, and impeccably clean. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking—truly one of the highlights of our trip. The pool and amenities were top-notch, with stunning surroundings that made it feel like a private paradise. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and served with genuine warmth. The staff went above and beyond—always kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Our stay at this hotel in Folegandros was absolutely amazing! The view from our room was incredible, with a balcony that overlooked all of Folegandros and the sea – truly breathtaking. The hotel room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and just overall fantastic. The hosts were phenomenal. They served us delicious breakfast every day with the best food and coffee, and were always kind and helpful with anything we needed. They even picked us up from the port and drove us back when we needed to leave, making our trip seamless and stress-free. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk to Hora, which was incredibly convenient. This is by far the best place to stay in Folegandros, and I loved every moment of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island. We can't wait to come back!

The location is just epic, right in the heart of most happening square in Chora, just walk out the apartment compound, voila, The best part of the apartment is the balcony, imagine eating breakfast in the balcony and viewing the Panagia without having to leave your apartment / balcony. The hotel offers free pickup and drop off from port, I really appreciate this great service.

From the very first moment we arrived at the accommodation, we felt like we had stepped into a little paradise. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and carefully designed down to the last detail. The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The view from the balcony was truly magical; every morning we woke up to the sounds of nature, and every evening we enjoyed the stunning night sky, counting shooting stars. The location is ideal, offering peace and relaxation, while at the same time being very close to wonderful beaches and great restaurants. Lina, the host, was exceptional: kind, friendly, and always available to help us with recommendations for food, excursions, and activities. She made us feel genuinely welcome and gave us the impression that we weren’t just staying at an accommodation, but being hosted by friends. Overall, this is a destination that combines quality, hospitality, and an authentic experience. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for unforgettable holidays! 🌟

Loved having a whole villa too ourselves. Nice gentle walk into the port for local cafes and restaurants and the bus stop if you wanted to travel round the island. Great views from Paros to Santorini.

We enjoyed staying at the port.

We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.

The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.

Yes it is the beach at this very small port, but is simply lovely, trees for shade, a pebble beach but after a half meter in the water, the rest is sand. Lovely small cove with 3 on beach restaurants. Beach is suitable for your children, off the beach some really good restaurants and accommodation. Great place to be including as a base to explore the rest of this lovely island and be within minutes to the ferrry for onwards journey.

An absolutely awesome place for relaxing and winding down. The locals are so friendly and welcoming. We had a fabulous host at our accommodation and I’m so pleased we chose the AMOSuites. We had everything on our doorstep and yet it was a peaceful break. Amazing

The most beautiful place on the island if you prefer to stay...

The most beautiful place on the island if you prefer to stay in a calmer place with a few but super tasty and traditional restaurants giving you the real feeling of Greek. You can reach any part of the island easily by scooter, quad or with the local bus. A small, but very open-minded and friendly community that lives and welcomes you on the island.

Although we spent only three days on Folegandros (the vacation is not endless and the ferry timetables did not favor us either), we left with the decision to return here. The atmosphere of Chora is breathtaking in the evening, the approach to the landmark - the church of Agia Panagia is much easier than it seems at first glance, the walk around the beaches from Agkali to Agios Nikolaus Beach with swimming was also full of experiences, including culinary ones.

Right by the harbour so convenient for the ferry. The rooms are very clean and recently refurbished. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the sister hotel in the town and were back in time to catch our next ferry. a great option for a short stay in Folegandros. we caught the bus up to the main town for dinner and easily got a taxi back down again, so it’s not a problem to be out of the centre.

Folegandros is the perfect island for those who love the Cyclades and Amo Suite is in the splendid bay of Karavostasis. The sea below, the taverns within ten steps, you can take a car or the bus stop is just outside the house! The host Yanni makes you feel like one of the family, always making sure you are happy staying there. There is nothing better!
