I stayed here for around 3,5 weeks in October. It's relaxed, beautiful hotel garden and terrace, great view from morning to evening, the rooms are clean and functional the wifi/internet was stable and fast enough. the hotel has a unique location, the city at a walkable distance but still at the edge, close beaches 1min away, that are beautiful, very helpful and super-friendly staff. very good breakfast, I appreciated everything here and felt like a human being, not a paying number

It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea.

It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea. The marina is a pleasant place to walk and visit. There are many terraces/restaurants/taverns for dining. The nearby Galida beach is very long, with calm, clear water, with few stones. There are parking lots right next to the beach, under the shade of the pine trees. There is a tavern on the beach. Winds are specific in the area, but despite all that, the sea has no waves, it is good for swimming. There are not many places to buy souvenirs in the city. We ate at the Cavo D'Oro tavern and Fingerfood, and we recommend.

Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday...

Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday makers from Athens. There are some fantastic restaurants which you will only find if you look carefully on Google! The same goes for stunning beaches - we found them only through searching on Google-earth, renting a car and going in search of them! You will enjoy the interesting culture and history - it is worth the short trip up the very windy mountain/hill-side to mooch around the ruins of the old castle and the stunning views from the top. There is plenty to see and explore and renting your own car is highly recommended (the rental place called *Karistos Marine* - located very close to the Anastasia hotel was absolutely brilliant - so helpful, extremely reasonable and offered a great car which we took all over Evia.

Easy access to Karystos, convenient road network for travel to and from the beaches, natural landscape with beauty and variety in beach choices, organized catering everywhere and very satisfactory options for night entertainment with young children.

Wonderful place!!!

Wonderful place!!! Nice beaches, it has many visitors but without that being a negative. Ideal place for a vacation with a child as everything is accessible and with many options for them to have a great time. I highly recommend Karysto.

A small town with all the amenities.

A small town with all the amenities. The town center has many restaurants and bars. Nearby beaches with parking, some with kiosks. Historical sites in the center or nearby (Red Castle). Guided/independent excursions available: Dimosari Gorge, Remains Cave.

Considering the price level of the island, Politia is not cheap, but the price is absolutely justified by tha service offered. The villas are in a quiet place, out of the crowded town of Karystos, with a garden of English grass and several trees (pear, orange, palm, bouganvillae, ....); the owner Matina and her mom are very kind, attentive and willing to ensure that guests full enjoy their stay. Last but not least, the welcome breakfast offered and the "arrivederci" gift. Magic place!

Very nice hotel, upper class. Well located (many restaurants in Karystos). Super clean and large rooms with sea view. Great service (when you sat down aroun the pool or bar area, they immediatley served some cold water). Very nice breakfast.
