A quiet shady space, with a lovely garden, convenient for Corfu town, airport and central/southern areas of the island. The owners met us and gave us a warm welcome. 9The kitchen was well equipped and having a washing machine, plus liquid, was very useful. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the light fade. There was a rather overgrown olive grove opposite which had some interesting wildlife, butterflies, and after dark there were fireflies (end of April). Car parking available on site. It's also on a bus route into Corfu town.

We wanted a last night of luxury to end our holiday in Corfu and Paxos and we certainly got it! Our room had a sea view and was light and airy. The huge bed was very comfortable and we soon got used to the control panel for lights and electric closing of the curtains. Super modern bathroom and enjoyed the bath. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful - helped us old folk print out boarding passes, carried our luggage upstairs. etc. There is a taverna "Mouragia" just around the corner overlooking the sea where we had a delicious dinner - recommend reserving a table in advance. The hotel is ideally situated - short walk into town.The Calliston is not cheap but value for money and super for a special stay. We'd love to return for longer!
