Stunning apartment with 2 great sized bedrooms (joy) and lovely deep (1.7M) plunge pool. Main pool was quiet and also deep (1.8m) with no shallow end. A car is very useful and there is great food near (10-15 mins) if you ignore the nasty tourist neon strip near the beach.

The rooms were exceptional, very spacious. We stayed here to play golf and it was a good course. We enjoyed the restaurant, pool and gym. You do need a car to get to see other things aside from golf.

The hotel appartment is very nice and clean! We had an appartment with a double bed and a single bed and a big terrace with 2 sunbeds. The beds and pillows are very comfi. We slept really good. The balcony had double doors with noise protection, so we did not hear the music outside, during the night (because the hotel faces a nice club, with swimming pool and disco). Mr Lambros, the owner is very nice and client oriented. He helped us with the airport transfer.

The Location for us was phenomenal - very close to the promenade, but secluded and quiet. We took our small dog with us, as the hotel is pet friendly. She was welcomed absolutely everywhere and the staff was very friendly towards her. The only place she was not allowed was the pool, which is completely fine and understandable. :) The food was great, the rooms were great, the staff was PHENOMENAL. All in all, enjoyed it, would recommend, and will come back if we ever go to Crete again!

pleasure and a nice surprise for us. The hotel has an excellent management and this is undoubtedly the merit of Mr. Niko and the very good and capable staff with whom they had correct communication. On the other hand, we appreciate the cleanliness of the property, the food and the location in the city center and the sea. It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

As it’s built into the mountains, reasonable mobility is desirable, however it is disable friendly and the taxis are cheap, On site there are lots of steps and inclines to the facilities, as well as lifts, but I’m sure a persons needs could be accommodated to all the pools and restaurants. I’m 71 and managed to walk into town/star beach ok, enjoyed the exercise tbh! Overall the hotel is brilliant for families with children of all ages. I would go back for sure! The town is superb, so much choice for eating/drinking out, shopping good, usual touristy stuff! People are friendly and very helpful.

Very nice Old Hersonissos. Many good restaurants and bars. Who likes more "turistic" area the new part of Hersonissos on the coast with lots of bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping street is very close.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs.

The town has a lot to offer great food, bars, clubs. At night the town comes alive with lots to do and see. The cost of taxi rides are all the same and we stayed just outside at the Arminda hotel and spa (which was amazingly good). It's a great location to explore the island as the main road is a couple of miles away and this connects the island East to West. It was such a lovely place that I will probably go back sometime in the future.

Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.

Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

Hersonissos is lively to many restaurants and bars. Having a car is an advantage as the best beaches and many restaurants recommended to us were not within walking distance. Best nearby restaurants were Areston and Avli. Skipper is reaonable on the restaurant strip. A bus service is available but we did not use it. Lots to do in Heraklion which can be reached by bus or car. We went to Agios Nikolaos and to Elounda. Good walks in both directions from the flat

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Odeysseas and Nicos, we were made to feel right at home. Greeted with house made ice tea and welcomed to Crete, we were then shown our room. The hotel is beautifully appointed and our suite was stunning! As well as the sleeping area, we had a comfortable seating area and bathroom. The most wonderful surprise however was the outdoor deck - wonderfully welcoming seats and sofa area complete with outside fire. Breakfast was a feast of delicious local produce.

Everything was perfect – the accommodation is very spacious and comfortable, the location is right by the sea and close to Heraklion and other sights in Crete, and the owners are very kind… I don’t understand why this apartment doesn’t have a rating of at least 9, as it is much better compared to other accommodation in Greece. We would gladly come back here. And our dog enjoyed staying here with us as well.

If you are looking for a nice, quiet stay and looking to explore Crete charm is an awesome option, we stayed for 4 nights and couldn't make a better choice.! A small and simple hotel, offering breakfast for free. There was also a mini fridge with reasonably priced drinks. The rooms are recently renovated and very clean. the family that run the hotel are super friendly and gave us very goood recommendations!

Our favorite hotel during our 12 day stay in Crete. Nice and spacious room, clean and quite modern. Plenty of space in the bathroom and shower. And a beautiful view on the ocean. And also space to park our car :)
