Very good hotel for families. Big enough, it has 6-7 swimming pools of different sizes, sliders, great kids playground, mini golf, volleyball, and others. There was entertainment every day, night show, music evening(different every day), kids club and activities. A lot of food and 3 main restaurants. The rooms are big, we l received a free upgrade. Also, our room was on the ground floor, which is great for families with small kids. There are no stairs and grass in front of your terrace. Free mini bar, refilled every day. Every day cleaning, changing towels, our linens were also changed a couple of times. As I did not find a comment about the sea, when I was searching, here are some details. The hotel is right on the beach, the beach itself starts with sand but then it continues with some stones, in the water there are stones as well, so shoes are recommended. You can buy shoes from the store in the hotel 13-15 euro. Unfortunately the water is not too shallow, when you enter is around your waist, so very young kids 2-3 years old could not enjoy much, but they loved the swimming pools and the water there was warm enough. The personnel of the hotel were great, smilling, and helpful. I really recommend it.

The location is excellent! It is calm and the city of Lindos is close by. The appartment is clean, it is complete and the interior is very well finished. The hosts are amazing! They provided all the needed information and they gave us pieces of fruit accompanied with cookies.

Private swimming pool and the jacuzzi, the garden area and the location. In response to some comments by previous guests, Yes, it does appear to be overlooked but it is by the family that owns the property and they go out of their way to not come out on their balcony, we saw them once in 3 weeks! With regard to the shower being small, there is plenty of room in there to have a shower! The family are always on hand to sort out any problems - very quickly.

The 3 rooms apartment is large and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Equipment is very complete. Our hosts Aris and Tota were very attentive. we received good Greek wine when we arrived, and Tota made us discover some typical Greek dishes... sunbeds are available free of charge on the beach, a shower is provided in the garden. the Mediterranean garden is very well maintained and contains some beautiful flowering and fragrant trees...

Excellent choice! Wonderful and spotless place, with an interior door that offered comfort and flexibility. The apartment had everything we needed – fully equipped and well taken care of. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal: just a one-minute walk from the beach and right in the center of the area, with a mini market, bus stop, and shops all nearby. We had an amazing stay, we were treated exceptionally well, and we will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

Lardos is a quaint little village away from the pressing...

Lardos is a quaint little village away from the pressing mass tourism of Lindos. You do, however, need to rent a car to get there and get around, especially if you are traveling as a family. If you are in Lardos, you have to dine at Hellas restaurant for outstanding service and food!

lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town...

lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town with some good restaurants and bars. Its a good place to go and relax and close enought to visit Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. Its a great base with good transport links and a great Beach for swimming and snorkelling.

The hotel was good generally with a nice swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was all inclusive and very plentiful and generally well cooked. The hotel was spoiled by being on the main road through the town and so a fair number of vehicles going up and down with poor pedestrian facilities. Deciding to fix the water problems in the town as the holiday season began was a mistake and spoiled the town and the facilities in the hotel for a whole day. The trip to the Tsambika monastry was a holiday highlight but beware there are lots of steps to it and a long trek up a steep road before that. The Folklore museum in Lardos also a holiday highlight.

Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak season ( starts around 9:30pm). This involves some Greek dancing and music in the pretty square. Be sure to book a restaurant table early if you intend to go. We particularly liked ‘Valentina’s’ - great restaurant and lovely owner. Lardos Bay hotel is a little out of town so taxis / hire car are essential if you plan to explore. Do yourself a favour and skip the bog all inclusive hotels and stay in the villages to experience the real Greek people and food - you will be hooked!

There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed...

There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed there is because it is near Lindos, which you really just need 1 day to be there, and the weather on this side of the island is better, less windy, the sea is calm and more sunny.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper. Within 10 minutes driving you can visit Glystra Beach (sandy beach perfect for children), Plakia beach (not sandy but the colors of the sea are wonderful) and Pefkos beach (sandy beach). 20 minutes driving and you are at Agathi beach and it is very beautiful. For dining I recommend: Valantina’s restaurant (everything was delicious!) , Roulas (best moussaka tasted!) and Savvas (more rustic but the souvlakis are really good). I tried also the bakery at the corner of the main square and the orange cake was delicious and also the ice cream! Eating in Lardos is very satisfying and much cheaper than Lindos.

As soon as we arrive, we are welcomed by Nectarena and was awarded an upgrade with a Jacuzzi balcony apartment which was fantastic. I’m looking into getting a Jacuzzi at home now because of that experience the rest of the staff especially the kitchen staff. Very very nice people in Greece are in general 10 times nicer than anybody else in Europe. Nothing is too much no place is too far. Everybody speaks English really one of the best experience ever.

Property was clean, modern and well-equipped. Air Con was great. Good kitchen and laundry facilities. Hosts were helpful and quick to respond to messages. Location is good, 30 min walk to beach and 5 min walk to Lardos town for groceries, buses, food and drink. Would definitely stay here again.
