Sylvia Camping Apartments give you the opportunity to enjoy a luxurious and in the same time quiet place just a few meters from the sea. Its most amazing perk is the private jacuzzi, available in each of the 6 apartments. It great to have it all for your own all day long. There's also kitchenette and a fridge, 2 chairs and a sofa for the outside space. There is a summer bar and a small shop in the camping with fresh bread, fruits and vegetables available. The girl from the reception helped us order some food from the nearest restaurant. The beach is 5 minutes away and there are some sun beds available for a reasonable price. The camping is a good starting point for Olympus mountain hikes since it is close to Litochoro. The camping facilities like showers and toilets looked clean, there are a lot of trees providing natural shade.

Wonderful apartment! We really enjoyed our stay, everything was good. Very comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. Just a 5-minute drive away is a beautiful beach, "Akrotiri Beach Bar" with sunbeds and a great restaurant. The town itself is cozy and peaceful, a perfect place to relax. We will definitely come back again!

It was newly renovated but it’s the friendliness of the lady owner and her daughter that was the nicest part of our stay. We were there to see Mount Olympus. As we were not fit enough to hike, we drove to Priona. There’s a small cafe there that serves delicious goat soup. It was a misty day and we didn’t really get to see much of it. But, the next morning , from our hotel, the sky cleared, and we had the best view ever sitting at the patio , having our delicious homemade breakfast. We had walked around but there’s no better view than from this hotel. Even if you are not staying there, have a drink or a simple meal at this place. Best view of the Mount Olympus mountain range.

It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites. The peaceful setting, combined with natural beauty and culture, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration.

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a...

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a mountain one, but Litochoro offers exactly that - in 15-30 minutes by car you can be either in the heart of Olympus or on a sandy beach that looks out a travel brochure. If you head to the beach, we recommend the one between Paralia and Olympiaki Akti a little up north along the coast - there is golden sand, no rocks at all, and no crowds. If you head to the mountain, take the road to Prionia and make sure you stop at the Monastery of Saint Dionysios and Stavros Refuge along the way - the views are truly breathtaking all throughout the trip In the city center, check out the maritime museum, the park, and the restaurants and bakeries along the park. The old church is pretty impressive as well. All in all, a great destination, not just in the summer!

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus.

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus. Lovely place, close to Enipeas gorge, and it´s fantastic waterfalls and lagoons. On one side, few kms from the ocean, on the other side the mountains stand tall. So it´s a perfect place to start the hike to the Olympus, or just go to the beach. It is also the finish line of the Olympus Marathon, and I can only recommend. Nice cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, and the views are gorgeous.

Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains and the sea. We have already spent the night in Litochoro twice on our way to the Peloponnese and Skiathos, but we decided to spend our summer here next year. The nightlife and entertainment is excellent, there are many bars and restaurants, especially when you go down the beautiful promenade to the river. In the town itself, we liked eating the most at the Meze-Meze restaurant with excellent food.

The whole selling point of the town is Mount Olympus yet their blue ribband walk to Prionia is closed as five bridges are down. It is a national park and a unesco biosphere and yet the locals do not give a damn!

Martina and her team were there to greet us, gave us helpful...

Martina and her team were there to greet us, gave us helpful advice about hiking, rang a taxi for us to get to Priona to do a walk to the monastery and gave us extra pots and pans and some olive oil so that we could cook a simple meal in our room. We stayed in early May and our room on the second floor opened onto a large shared terrace with a great view of the town and mountains. Although this is a shared communal space, and could get busy in summer, we were fortunate to have it to ourselves most of the time. We also enjoyed meeting our neighbours when the adjacent room was booked. A peaceful and welcoming guesthouse with good facilities and very well located too.

The hotel is stunning! All of the features and furniture are beautiful, which made for a tranquil stay. It has a lovely shaded courtyard where we had breakfast, which I’d highly recommend having. Probably the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a hotel! And it was no problem for them to cater for us being vegetarian. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and allowed us to leave some luggage with them the day before while we were staying in a lodge on Mount Olympus the night before our stay.

I'd like to recommend Litochoro Combo Apartments with all my heart <3. For my point of view, the apartment is the much comfortable than any hotel ones. All equipment (you have everything you need, even the espresso coffee machine) are new. From one side, you have beautiful blue sea and sky, and from the other, mount Olympus provides you with refreshing greenery. Mrs Mendy and Mr. Tasos were excellent hosts.

Very nice place! The communication with the staff, the Vibe, the look and the Room - fantastic. Our host also wrote some great recommendations about restaurants and tavernas. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again in the future. Also the location is perfect to enjoy all that Litochoro has to offer.

We have stayed here several times now and it is perfect! The welcome is so lovely and we feel at home as soon as we arrive. Beautiful clean rooms and (although sadly we left too early to appreciate it this time), the best breakfast possibly in the whole of Greece!!
