Extremely welcoming upon arrival. We stayed in room 7 which was fantastic with a lovely balcony overlooking the port. Modern minimalist design, spotless, with good quality linen and toiletries. Stylish bar and restaurant on site. Sakis helped make our holiday more enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble.

Staff were so warm and welcoming, really friendly. The rooms were fine, plenty of space for us two and nice and clean. I loved the balcony to sit out on in the mornings! We loved being able to walk to the restaurants and shops, literally around the corner. The breakfast was good and tables outside were nice to sit at for a drink before we went out. Highly recommend, I hope we’ll be back!

Amfitriti is a really beautiful place to stay. I stayed in two rooms during my stay and each were decorated so beautifully with a very personal touch. The light and views are unbeatable. The host cooked a delicious breakfast each morning which you could eat while looking over the bay. A lot of hard work has gone into this place and it has a lot of soul. It’s only a 10 minute stroll to the restaurants and bus stop. I will be back again!!

Nice location. Comfortable and clean. I appreciated the owner talking me through getting to the property, as I was close but just barely missing the gate. The A/C was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was an easy walk to the places I visited. I would love to stay here for several days. It felt like home.

Very convenient location, next to the ferry and close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops of Livadi. There was a parking spot right behind the property, which was very helpful. The hotel, even though centrally located, was very quiet because it was one of the last hotels uphill. The hostess is very sweet, helped us with keeping our baggage for as many hours as we wished. The room was cleaned every day and was always tidy. Totally recommended :)

Location is excellent. This is an unpreetentious accommodation in a very good and quiet side of the island. The furniture is not the newest but the room has everything you need. Excellent value for money (price is the lowest in the area) and I am happy to have found this low budget option.Will return soon!

The walk up to the Chora is a must do, the view is breathtaking, you are best to do it early before the sun gets too hot, the latter parts are quite tough. The beach on the right hand side of the port is very nice with trees for shade and food and drink available at a beach bar Lepi Lepi is a really good restaurant for fish.

A vibrant centre that meets the needs of a traveller that is NOT looking for night clubs, theme parks and party nights. And excellent variety of restaurants from basic to fine dining. Self catering is well catered for with numerous well stocked mini-markets. Souvenir shops are low key and mainly down the side streets. It is the main hub of the island so all busses depart from near the port to the chora and in season to other beaches. The main beach is a very long sweep of fine sand & small pebble, with shade provided by tamarisk trees. The bay is fairly well sheltered and bathing is safe, but getting out of the water can be tricky in places due to a distinct shelf in the sand. Do have a day excursion on the bus to the chora - the views are amazing, both from the chora and the bus ride.

Excellent, easy Greek island experience. I would recommend renting a car for at least a day or two (we didn't and still had a wonderful trip, but would have been nice to be able to tour the entire island, and taxis are hard to come by).

Plenty of restaurants and bakeries along the promenade. Friendly atmosphere. Good island for hikers. You can walk to most places - some great beaches within 1 hour. I didn’t need to hire a car. There weather was great mid October but some places had shut down- this wasn’t a problem for me but it was quiet for those seeking more of a nightlife.

Good experience, nice location, well situated, good mix of shops tavernas and supermarkets for self catering, local bus service a bit limited. Could do with a bar with music to enliven the evening after eating to be picky

Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia,...

Livadi is the sort of place you see in films (Mama Mia, Shirley Valentine) but don’t expect ever to visit. We trundled our suitcases off the ferry and along the main (only) street past fishing boats and restaurants with tables on the narrow sandy beach. Yachts bobbed in the bay. Nothing much else was happening. That was the beauty of it. The only regular bus service takes you slowly up the very steep hill from the port to the village of Hora…..or you can try walking up on the old mule track, but only if you’re pretty fit. Hora itself is surely one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades with stunning views. Beyond Hora, the 2 main attractions of Serifos are its beaches (numerous, beautiful, sandy, warm water) and its hiking trails (spectacular but some better waymarked than others - buy a hiking map in a Livadi supermarket). Enjoy it - but don’t tell too many other people!

Very good location and great people! The room was clean and had a nice view to the terrace. The hotel was situated in a very convenient location, steps away from the beach and the stores and restaurants. The people were very kind and helpful. They reached out before we arrived to plan for the room preparation and was in constant contact with us for everything we needed. We will definitely prefer to stay there again in our next visit to Serifos!

The "rooms" (there is no hotel staff except two maids for three hours) are very close to the ferry terminal, and the terraces of the three front rooms offer a beautiful view of the harbour and the old town. The view from the terraces is as good as anywhere in Greece.
