The property was lovely and the room itself was spotlessly clean, modern but with a bit of rustic charm offered by the painted wooden ceiling. The area is wonderful, a 15 minute ferry ride to Chora Sfakion where you can get the bus to Impros Gorge for a beautiful 2 hour hike. The location of the property is perfect, right at the end of the bay so secluded and private, but still only a couple of minutes from the restaurants. And the balcony has the most perfect view! The staff cleaned the room every day, and were so lovely and helpful. In fact we enjoyed our stay so much, we ended up extending it by 2 days!

The apartments have been newly renovated and are lovely. We had an ocean view apartment that overlooked Sfakia and is within a few minutes walk to restaurants and supermarkets. The view is amazing. The photos have not been updated yet so was a wonderful surprise to walk into fresh new accommodation. Breakfast was also great, fresh and delicious. The lady looking after us was absolutely lovely and we would not hesitate to stay here again, highly recommended.

Very nice team, helpfull. Uncomplicated check in. Some rooms, ours for exemple but I belive most of them, have AMAZING VIEWS on the village and the sea. Right in the Center. Still calm! The tavernas are closing before 12 and there's no party bar or discos that you hear. A relaxing stay, beautiful.

EVERYTHING! This is a wonderful place to stay, just a 5min walk into the main village. The room was fantastic, spacious, clean with a large balcony and amazing views. We loved swimming/ snorkelling off the rocks to the right of Loutro (facing out to the bay) and probably spent more time in the sea than on land! It's such a lovely place, possibly a bit too busy for my liking (compared to when I was last there 30 years ago!) but I still loved it. We liked eating at Stratis taverna, set back from the main sea front. The chicken souvaki there was so so good!

We were there for 5 days and really enjoyed our time hiking, swimming and just chilling out. It is a very small place so if you are someone who likes lots of shops and people it might not be the place for you or maybe for just the day.

Liked the colour of the town. Liked all the boats. Liked it could only be accessed by water. Every body seemed to be tourists. Wondered how the few kids around got to school. Food in general didn’t have a great taste. Wine and beer good. Prices higher than Chania

Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days...

Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days except if one wants to simply relax on the beach. Hikes to Fiona’s and Glyka nera are easily accessible. Good restaurants with local delicacies. Ate at Stratis and Ilios both reasonably priced

The relaxed athomsphere and the silence in Loutro after the day tourist have gone are so great. If you go to Loutro DO NOT forget to bring snorkeling equipment, the crystal clear water and living creatures are so nice. I had a walk/hike up to the ruins of the fortress above Loutro and that was a very interesting place to visit. PS. Please do not carve your name on the walls of the ruin, sadly so many tourist lack respect for historical heritage.

It’s a pretty and lively place, only accessible by boat. The town is a nice place to enjoy food and drink. We found Ilios to be the best restaurant and the bar on the far right (looking from the sea) to be an enjoyable place for a drink or two. The best things about the place, for us, were the immediate access to the E4 hiking route and the multiple boat trips to nearby beaches Glika Nera and Marmara. Glika Nera is fabulous if not too crowded. Try the home made Kolokithokeftedes (courgette balls) with a little Tzatziki at the taverna on the jetty. Yum!

The rooms are beautiful and the view from my room was unrivalled - right out over the bay. Such a stunning place with goats roaming the hillside at the back and a lovely little restaurant with only a few hotels. Only way to get there was by taxi boat from Loutro which was great. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Great location with wonderful views overlooking Loutro Bay. We had a triple room on the corner of the building which had particularly lovely views. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Decent sized room with very comfortable beds.
