It's is just the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway! The view is amazing, the place is clean and felt right home❤️ The host is the friendliest and most responsive. Not that we needed any help, because the place had literally everything, a lot of utilities, even an air fryer which was a nice surprise lol. And you had to see that sea view! I wish we could have stayed longer!! We'll be definitely back for more! Thank you for the amazing check in experience, we were fairly tired when we arrived, but had an amazing time!

The house was traditional, and yet modernized. We enjoyed our stay a lot and did appreciate the gifted Greek cookies. The location is also very convenient, as you are only a few steps away from the village center, where you find everything you need and even a nice cafe with great breakfast options.

Good location with free parking outside. Spacious very clean modern bedroom with balcony, good shower room. Host very welcoming and helpful. Exceptional breakfast in choice and quality (even though we were the only guests that morning).

There is a large sandy beach.

There is a large sandy beach. There is free parking on the beach. Umbrellas require a consumption of 20 euros per umbrella. Prices have not changed for the last 4-5 years. This year there seem to be more people than in previous years, but it still remains calm, without much noise and loud music from the bars.

Makri is a small charming village with attractions.

Makri is a small charming village with attractions. Maybe the summer season is livelier. Now late autumn it is deserted, the restaurants are not open, some shops too. There is much to be desired. But the villa or tourist area has wonderful houses along the coast - neat and beautiful, there are many taverns and beach bars, which eventually all work in the summer. Beautiful and peaceful.

The city of Makri is 10 km from Alexandroupoli's city center...

The city of Makri is 10 km from Alexandroupoli's city center. I highly recommend staying one night in the city center and one night in Makri village. The sea is approximately 1.5 km away. The beaches are a two-minute drive away. The village center was very peaceful, and breakfast was available at the cafe. We also enjoyed the tavern called Filirakia in the harbor.
