Very stylish and elegant room with anything you might need, including a small fridge. Everything was decorated to a high standard and had a luxurious feel to it. This is a beautiful traditional Greek building brought up to a very high standard of accommodation run by a mother and her son who cannot do enough to make your stay memorable and happy. Great care has been taken to imagine what a guest would like to find in their room - toiletries, excellent linen, a comfortable bed, a generous hospitality tray and a fridge, heating (it was very cold during our stay), plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower, and a box of tissues!! The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, and comfortable. It felt like being in the home of someone you feel very comfortable with, and Ellina and Yiannis are delightful and conscientious hosts. Now the breakfast ... mentioned by so many guests .... a veritable feast of fresh orange juice, the usual ingredients of a Greek breakfast (olives, cucumber, feta cheese and tomatoes) but with a further choice of cold cuts and sliced cheeses, cereals, yogurt, a wonderful choice of breads, plus home made jams (especially the one made from local oranges) and several home made cakes and biscuits, Delicious, and served with smiles and filoxenia. Thank you to Ellina and Yiannis for a wonderful stay.

Nafplion is a charming town. Beautifully situated by the sea, it has squares, nice restaurants and cafés, and artisan shops. There is a castle and a beautiful walking path along the coast. You can swim nearby on a small beach with showers. There are also plenty of other sights to see in the area.

Nice, small town with an attractive almost fully pedestrianised old centre where there is a good choice of restaurants ( would recommend Kollegas). Superb coastal location with long seaside promenade. Very well placed for visiting the likes of Epidavros, Mycenae etc.

Nafplio was easily accessible from Athens via the public bus...

Nafplio was easily accessible from Athens via the public bus and walkable once you arrive. It was a great place to relax away from the Athens bustle, with plenty of restaurants, quaint shops, and picture perfect streets. The fortresses above the village were worth the visit. Rented a car to visit the regions archeological sites and driving was not problematic.

Quaint little town with a lot of charm and delicious food. The views of the coast are breathtaking and the town are beautiful. The best part is that you can walk everywhere and you don't need a car to get around.

Just a postcard perfect old town that is wonderful to wander around, especially at night. The bells of the clock tower and church make it even more atmospheric. Note, if you do go out to the fort, you’ll be charged separately for the boat rides and the fort entrance.

you can go to the beach, run up the fortress of Palamidi, or...

you can go to the beach, run up the fortress of Palamidi, or walk, take a run around the cape, visit the old town and the numerous churches and shops and restaurants, take a short boat ride to Burtzi castle - this is all in town! you can take a short trip to Mycenae, to Epidaurus and others - it's just great!

We had the suite at the top of the building. It had a nice balcony with seaview. The room was spacious and all wooden, in a nice traditional style. Even though there was not specifically a breakfast included, they provided water, butter, marmelade and bread. The pension is situated in the old town of Nafplio, very close to everything! The hosts were nice and made us feel welcome. We always manages to find parking on the street leading to the hotel.

The location is perfect at the street between the old and the new centre. The room was spacious, with a nice balcony where we actually sat a few times because of the view and the weather. The lady at the desk was super helpful and friendly and so was the cleaning lady. Nafplio is great to visit in October, enough people to make it cosy, but not too busy. Location to the beach, the steps up to the fort, the bus stop and the restaurants was good!

love the country side hotel. And surprisingly found it is a family run business. With good facility, it is still feel like a cozy homestay. Large orange tree farms around. This is the best sleep we had for whole Greece trip for 16 days. So quiet. And we can see the castle and sea in distance too. 15 mins from the town center.
