All rooms are in Vila’s style. For us was 1 on ground floor with swimming pool and big room, big bathroom room with 2 sinks, another room with sofa bed (already was made a bed for us) with another complete bathroom for my 3 kids. For us, parents our room was on top, with outside access separate stairs,these are double room and big bathroom… quiet to sleep well , all new and nicely finish as all the hotel. Beach is great because you are just 1 min walking, direct access to the hotel beach with a big and nice private place with umbrellas and beds for only hotel guests with no problem to find 5 beds for us at any time. The Beach bar is a big and wonderful area, very elegant but comfortable, exceptional service with very diverse and good food / prices for lunch. Also drinks and wine options are excellent…as it’s working as the bar in the evening as well, till midnight… lovely place to enjoy at the sea after dinner as well. Swiming pool is really nice, next to the beach. There is also, the only restaurant for dinner that it was not as good as the beach one, in price-quality relation, but still good quality food. Is a hotel with high standards, taking care of all details, service, comfort, style, food, drinks, towels, etc…

It is a intimate hotel, not so big. Friendly atmosphere. No problem finding a sunbed ( beach or pool). The provide bwach towels at check in. There is a free shuttle provided by the hotel to go to Benitses. Last stop of bus 6 is just outside the hotel so it is very suitable to taki it and go to Corfu town for 2,5 euro (at the driver). The 24 h reception with very nice people, they gave us a superbe room with sea view. Internet working ok. We loved the beach, even if is quite far (7-10 min walk) is is a superbe private beach area eith refreshment available at the beach bar.

September is a good month to travel, especially with...

September is a good month to travel, especially with children. The area is suitable for a family relaxing holiday. It is very difficult to get around without a car. It is difficult with shops, but there are small local ones. Beautiful beaches and views, olive groves, small villages with a Greek charm, a good bakery! The only pity is that many neglected houses and gardens, this does not give the best impression of the island!

There is very little at Paramonas - that is why we chose to go there. There are several tavernas, all were good and not overpriced. We especially liked the lovely gardens at Skala and the food was good at all. The supermarket in the nearest large village was happy to deliver and there is a daily mid morning visit from the local baker - listen out for his car horn or look for his van. The beach has some sunloungers, can't comment on this service as we didn't use them. We planned to hire a small boat for fun trips along the coast however, we changed our minds when we got to Paramonas as the sea is strong onto the beach and we considered it too rough - even paddling to just above knee depth felt a bit scary! There are no busses but you can get a taxi very easily. try the hotel for info. If you are wanting a taxi from Corfu town to Paramonas e.g. airport transfer, try Thanasis on +30 698 422 8033. He was prompt, the taxi was clean and well maintained and he knows everyone and everything about Corfu- highly recommended. If you are arriving late from the airport and have no welcome pack there are no shops in Paramonas so be sure to ask the taxi/transfer to stop in Corfu town at a late shop (there are plenty).

A lovely quiet relaxing village.

A lovely quiet relaxing village. Just a beach and 3 tavernas really but a great place to spend a laid back week if you just want to relax, swim, eat souvlaki and watch the sun set. The beach never gets too busy. You can hire sun beds, boats, paddle boards, etc on the beach If you are feeling a bit more active you can explore the area on foot, as it is on the Corfu Trail.

We were there in October and it was very quiet which was...

We were there in October and it was very quiet which was what we wanted. One taverna with good food and service. Sandy beach with beds for rent and boat hire in the season. The nearest shop is in Agios mattheios which is 3km uphill so I would recommend hiring a car.
