The house with several appartments is located in the middle of olives, so the surroudings is green, the bed was very comfortable, the view of the sea from the balcony was beautiful, the host was helpful and caring, so we were happy there. The guys from tavern on the beach 550 m from the appartment had the best tzatziki on the southern coast. I am sure there are no crowds of people even during the high season.

Everything was amazing. This hotel was the best I have stayed in all my many trips of Greece and I have visited Athens several times and many of the islands! The staff go out of their way to meet all your needs. The food is exceptional, very fresh and with ample options of local cuisine. In all our stay no two meals were the same in fact the buffet is very well planned to have different dishes at every meal! Everything is fresh, local and abundant. The attention to detail is amazing! Children are well catered for and the rooms are impeccably clean! All the staff from the Hotel general manager, the owners and their extended family, the reception staff, the entertainment, housekeepers, chefs, cooks, waiters and barmen are all amazing people and go out of their way to meet and greet all guests and are constantly asking if we need anything and constantly smiling. This hotel is a true gem and probably Crete’s best kept secret! The location next to Preveli and Kourtaliotiko Gorge is very convenient and really enhances the unique Cretan experience! This Hotel is well worth a stay and I really hope we will have an occasion to come back!

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the...

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

About half a dozen good places to eat, lovely sandy beach even better if more comfortable sunbeds, nice peaceful location in the countryside. Plenty of tradition Greek food available, probably enough places to eat for a week if you don’t have a car but ideally a car allows you to try different beaches and explore area.

Brilliant location, quiet but only a short distance from the beach, local amenities etc. The people running the hotel were ever so sweet and accommodating, always greeted us with a genuine smile and positive attitude. The room was clean, homey and had everything you might need for a short stay. We spent our time in the area hiking all day so we looked forward to coming back to our lovely little room at the end of the day.
