We were very but very satisfied.Beautiful place super close to the sea.Perfect breakfast and awesome dinners. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Managment and stuff very polite and nice to guests. I can higly recommend this hotel 👍

The staff, hospitality, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Spa facilities and services provided, massages, were outstanding. The food buffet had everything you could imagine and more. Amazing boutique hotel at the beach. The location is perfect-quiet but still close to the town (Retimno), restaurants and shops. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend, especially for people who want to relax in a peaceful surroundings.

The hotel is small, with a small number of rooms. At check-in they give a bottle of local wine and a plate of fruit. The staff are very polite and pleasant. Some days we lived with a sea facing room, a few with a garden view. The rooms have everything, clean. Very liked that for dinner every day was a different cuisine. And everything was delicious! My husband has gluten intolerance - and the chef told him which dishes were gluten-free, and sometimes even cooked specially. There was a very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks to the hotel we had an amazing holiday!

The hotel is beautiful. It really does take you to your own little paradise. Everything is easy to find and there’s plenty of great facilities. The hotel rooms were a great size and had everything you needed including a free minibar. Towels for the pool were available, the sunbeds were beautiful overlooking the pools (there are three beautiful pools!). The restaurant serves amazing food and the staff were so amazing and friendly

Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

Sfakaki is a nice area, a few tavernas with lovely food and great staff. Beach is about a 15 min walk. Supermarkets and coffee shop a short distance away. Regular bus into Rethymno. Options for day trips available.

I spent the whole July in the hotel. I had to work during a day and I can say it was a really comfortable place to stay, work and rest. The Internet connection was stable most of the time (I had a lot of calls throught the Internet, so it was really important for me). The place is clean and calm, with a lot of space around without buildings. I enjoyed the see view from a balcony. The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly, I definately felt as if I was home. Thank you very much guys, hope to see you one day again!

It was such a nice place and Andreas who owned it was super nice and really made our stay extraordinary. He made sure to help us with everything we needed and also asked us every day how we were and if we needed anything. The apartment was sooooooo affordable and priceworthy! You got more than you paid for. When going back to Crete we will make sure to come back to Almyra Apartments & Suites! Thank you Andreas 🌸

Beautiful ! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The host Nikos and his wife are very pleasant and helpful, every room has a sea view, it is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The pool is excellent and perfectly positioned. Parking is provided. Sunrise Hotel is highly recommended!
